“Home away from home” We absolutely loved our stay here, from start to finish. I will rave about the apartment itself but first let me rave about the owners, Kevin and Annmarie, who were like helpful friends rather than 'landlords.' When our travel dates changed slightly, Kevin worked with me by e-mail to ensure it all worked out (a huge relief since we were coming all the way from Australia!). He met our taxi when we arrived, carried a bag upstairs for us, and he and Annmarie gave us the tour of the fabulous 2nd-floor apartment, complete with food and wine they had stocked for us, and gave us directions to everywhere we might need to get to. Through the course of our 3-night stay, they were both available with suggestions for sightseeing or meals, chats about universities (we were taking a few campus tours in the area), pets of their dogs, and were overall so kind and welcoming that we couldn’t have felt more at home. The apartment is close to EVERYTHING - Whole Foods grocery store, trains, Harvard and MIT, restaurants. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need for cooking your own meals, the beds were comfortable, the apartment clean, the street quiet; we all appreciated the free wifi and the cable TV. Overall we were so relaxed and comfortable here. It was a home away from home and if we ever go back to Boston we would definitely stay here again!

“Comfort, breezes, superb views” For older renters this is an ideal setting for walks, long views, easy access to the Canal, route 6a and Sandwich tourist offerings. There's nothing between you and the water - no traffic to negotiate, no noise, no crowds. Do you need a big-screen TV? You've got it.Lots of lounging space? Ditto. Nearness to a market? No problem. A fully-equipped kitchen? It's yours. This is a hidden jewel!

“good family fun!!!” Th service from Sand dollar Realty was great! They took care of every thing from check in/out times, where to pick up house keys, directions to thier office, to the vacation rental and a host of resources for us to explore. They went to great lengths to reduce as much stress as possible to help make our vacation a wonderful experiance. We absolutely loved the home! It was perfect for our family of five. We were very comfortable, the home was immaculate, had all the ameneties of any home, great layout, and plenty of space. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to see aC in the windows. That was a bonus for us because it was not mentioned in the amenities on the web site. It was a great relief because my wife is 7 months pregnant. There were plenty of cookware, utensils, all the appliances worked super, and extra bed blankets. The location and local amenities were perfect. Everything was with in a very short walking, riding, or driving distance. We walked and road our bikes to the beaches, board walk,(Awsome!!), and Cape Cod Canal. There were great resturaunts, Ice cream shops, grocer stores, bait shops, and banks all with in minutes. What we liked best. It felt like we were at our very own beach house. We felt relaxed, comfortable, had no worries, or stress. The owners left great welcoming gifts and information on sights, places to eat and local atractions. We loved the location, house, the towns histoy, local shops, board walk and the marsh at low tide. What we liked least. The shower head is to low. I had to squat to get under it and I'm just barely 6ft tall. A hand held shower head might be good option. Also the TV was small. I'm guessing 15 - 19inch screen. Overall, we had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer. We would like to thank Sand Dollar Realty for all their support and assistance with making the stay worry free. We would also like to thank the home owners for sharing their home with us.

“Quiet, Beautiful, and well maintained” We enjoyed our stay at this home for a week in early august. The house was really well maintained, plenty of kitchen appliances, and tableware. The views of the ocean were great too. There were a few good food options nearby, and the town of Sandwich itself is a treat. The bars do close at 1am though, and the ones closest to this house were pretty much empty during the week. It was great being so close to Provincetown and Salem though and it made daytripping to Martha's Vineyard a breeze. However the beach is very rocky. I know people have said things to this effect, but I mean its so rocky that there is almost no sand. Its like walking over a really smooth loose cobblestone road. We did not spend more than 20 minutes at this beach and ended up going to beachs in other cities. If you are looking for a great place on the cape though, and not worried about driving or beach access I would recommend this house.
