“Nice condo, great location, love the platinum membership” Clean and comfortable condo with a nice south facing patio, sun for most of the day, looking right at the tenth tee of the challenge course. Free WiFi and telephone is a nice extra. The condo is a very short walk to the clubhouse for golf and tennis, very accessable with the platinum membership. The tennis and golf staff were very helpful and friendly and the tennis facilities and both golf courses are first rate.

“It's a very cozy and nice place. Owner is very responsible and r” My friends and I stayed at Kristina's place for a nice summer weekend getaway! The cabin was very clean and perfect for the five of us! Bedrooms provide privacy and the yard outside is very nice for hanging out! We rode bikes, played frisbee and enjoyed the picnic table while grilling. Kristina even has an extensive DVD collection to watch. Bathroom was remodeled and very nice. This cabin is a great place for friends and family to gather while in Big Bear! The lake is a very simple bike ride away. The house was close enough to town and easy to get to. We would definately come back again :)

“Paridise In Big Bear” My husband and I went to the Chalet with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Kiyoe was very welcoming. The place was very clean and homey. “Breathtaking Tennis Estate” This estate is truly amazing. It has had everything I was looking for. I went here with my family and friends. We all had an amazing time. It has something for everyone. My friends and I throughly enjoyed the tennis court. We played so much I think I still have blisters on my feet lol. The tennis court isn't the only thing played on it. The kids loved riding bike, playing catch, basketball, tag, among other games they played. There is also a great playground adjacent to the tennis court in the grass. The kids also loved jumping on the trampoline. This estate also has a pool. It is a great pool just to lounge in or if you have kids there is no deep end which we all liked. No matter where you are this place has amazing views. You have views of the country side along with views overlooking San Diego. We really loved that every night we saw hot air balloons in the sunset sky. Also in the summer months Sea World shoots off fireworks which we could see in the horizon on clear nights. Although there are many restaurants near by. This estate has an amazing gourmet kitchen. There were a few nights we decided to not go out and went to a local grocery store a mile away to pick up food to cook which was very nice. \ Bob is the best host. Not only is he very funny and easy to get along with. He is also very helpful if you ever need anything just text or call him. He is also very knowledgable about things to do, see, restaurants, beaches, shopping, etc. This house is also one level which is good if you have anyone elderly or young children staying with you. This is which the exception of the stairs going down to the pool, tennis court, and playground. Also, there is an apartment above the garage that you need to climb stairs to get to. This apartment is also great. It is a one bedroom with full kitchen, bathroom, and living room. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you love Tennis or have kids.

“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

“Fun Bachelor Weekend” This house was fantastic. We brought 11 guys up for my brother's bachelor party weekend. It was the perfect place for us to stay altogether (comfortably). There were more than enough beds and the kitchen was nice and large. In addition to its size, the location was great - close enough to the general store and the golf course. I highly recommend Heidi's Retreat (and Pine Mountain Club, generally) for a weekend of golf, hiking and even jousting!

“Comfort and space in a fantastic location” This was my first visit to this part of California and my first renting in the us over the internet. I spent some time researching, so I had a good idea of what to expect. However the service I got from VR from making the initial reservation to my arrival and the actual facilities, equipment and location of the condo itself far exceeding my expectations. I'd normally spend a few days stocking up with all those things you have in your home but are never there in a vacation rental - I didn't have to buy anything but groceries and replace what we'd used. Absolutely everything you need for a family vacation can be found somewhere in the condo. Moonlight Beach is a stunning location and having direct beach access is a real luxury and the views are stunning. I have so many great memories from surfing with dolphins & pelicans to seeing my first "red tide" and the sunsets from the balcony are just fabulous. On a practical note, it's very quiet and private but only a short stroll from all of the faclilities available in Main Street, Encinitas. I'm going back just as soon as I can!
