“Wonderful Place” We went as a family in the beginning of summer for a few days away. Everything was as described. The dining area was perfect to fit all of us together for a family dinner. The deck is perfect to sit and relax with a great view of lake. Everything you need for a BBQ was provided. The living room has a large fireplace , which we used even in the summer! The dock was a little bit of a walk, but well worth it. It is right on the lake with a table to sit and enjoy the lake. The owner was very accessible for any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely rent the place again! Very reasonable for a home so close to lake.

“Amazing Venue” This is our second stay and we love it! 20 women stayed over the weekend and had an amazing time! The second floor is spacious and the kitchen is the favorite place to hang out! It is a pleasure to do business with the owner. He's great and responds quickly to any and all communication. We will definitely come back again!

“Relax in Style” If relaxation is your goal--this is the place! Private spacious courtyard outside, warmly decorated, cozy comfort and all needed amenities inside. Our stay was short, but sweet! “Perfect” Our family stayed here for a weekend in September and thoroughly enjoyed it! We live in Oxnard and needed a place for family visiting from out of town. The Dunes Hideaway was the perfect solution for us! The beach is close and the home is comfortable and clean! There are bikes for adults and toys for children. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is space for everyone! Jana has thought of everything you could possibly need and has it waiting for you. She is easy to work with and made the whole process simple, Our family will stay here again and again. The Dunes is set up with everything you need, Just bring yourself and desire for fun or relaxation, it's all close by. A book with menus from nearby restaurants and suggestions for local activities has been compiled by the owner and is a great resource if you choose to go out. The open concept kitchen makes staying at home tempting. A nice deck for BBQ-ing is a great bonus! You will love how easy it is to stay at the Dunes Hideaway!

“The perfect get away!” We were looking for a place to escape the city and found this perfect cabin in Lake arrowhead. So many places are either very modern (not much of a country feel) or too cabin like (very uncomfortable). This cabin is the best of both worlds. It has all the comforts and space you would want and has an authentic cabin feel to it. Although it is so conveniently located by the village, when you are inside you feel miles away from everything. The bedrooms are a nice size so a whole family can feel they have room without being cramped. Great fireplace, Tv's and cozy furniture to snuggle up with a good book or chat with friends. The area is great with a lot to do. There are nice walks, the lake, boating and heaps of down time. You can easily walk for a bite to eat, get groceries, or just look around a local store. A short drive away is a movie theater and even more stores and restaurants. So look no further, this is the best you will find. I would highly recommend it.

“Not RIGHT on the lake as photos suggest but cozy and spacious cabin with hot tub and close proximity to Big Bear village” This cabin was very comfortable and cozy and really embodied the "cabin feel." The living room was very spacious and had a large TV that provided access to Netflix and other programs (a big plus). The kitchen was very well stocked with a wide array of kitchenware and grilling tools, which really came in handy for the grill right outside. We especially enjoyed the hot tub (spent many hours here), as we stayed in Big Bear in March and it was quite chilly out. The only problem we had with the house was the fact that the pictures were deceptive in making it appear that the cabin was right on the lake, which was not the case. There was a whole house right in front of us and blocked much of our view of the lake, as well as a long fence that made it impossible for us to even access the lake from our area (we had to walk a few hundred feet down the street to the marina to get to the water). Otherwise, the house was incredibly cozy and accommodating and made for a relaxing three-night stay up in the mountains for our Spring Break.
