“A reset button on life.” My Husband and I were lucky enough to spend our anniversary weekend at Starfire Cabin. As we drove onto the property we could feel there was a different energy and something special about the cabin. We were surprised and relieved to have no cell phone reception and quickly adapted to having a screen free visit. We kept gushing over the exquisite attention to detail that the owners had poured into the cabin and really felt cozy and welcome. We enjoyed a lovely stroll through their "back 40" and explored some wildlife and a different pace that we miss and embraced. We took some time to look at their garden and appreciate the artisan refinements of their garden gates and layout. We also had excellent access to Sandpoint for some dinner and a cruise, all within 15 min of the cabin. Our experience here was life changing and helped us appreciate some of the more tender moments in life that we share with each other and our family. We spoke with the owners and really felt a close connection to them and their story. This property has a lot of history and love, that you will feel as you experience the same.

“Wonderful!!!” What a treat! This is a beautiful clean home that is centrally located in Sandpoint. We spent a few days over Christmas vacation here and would come back to this home in a second! The owner communicated very well, the house was appointed with everything you could need to be comfortable.

About Sandpoint
Sandpoint is the largest town in Bonner County, Idaho. Voted 'most beautiful town in America' in 2012 by USA Today, it’s surrounded by the mountains of Selkirk, Cabinet and Bitterroot.
In the 1800s, timber harvesting and railroads were the main source of industry within the area, but it’s now become a highly appraised tourist spot, receiving thousands of visitors each year.

Long Bridge is also a fabulous bike path, despite being built for traffic purposes. It's a two-mile, flat road which will take you through the scenic countryside; or you may decide on some of the horseback rides which can be organized by local companies.
The Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge in Sandpoint is around 30 miles away, but is well worth the trip.
