“Santa Barbara 4 month Getaway” My family and I stayed in Secret Garden Hideaway for four months and we loved it. Wendy, the landlady, was always available and helpful. It is close to everything downtown: shopping, dining, exploring; as well as close to the beach. We loved our experience here. We also had visitors (special permission from owner) for the holidays and one thing we really appreciated was that all bedrooms were very secluded from the main living space. All of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms and even with a full house we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. We would definitely recommend planning your stay here!

“Quiet, private, comfortable with all the amenities” We spent a week in Santa Barbara at 'the Craftsman Cottage'. It was a fantastic, private retreat to return to after a day at the beach or a day of wine tasting. Everything was thought out from the luxurious linens, comfortable beds, washer and dryer, charcoal grill and charcoal, to a fully stocked kitchen. It turned out to be quite warm while we were there so an additional fan would have been helpful. I would recommend this property to any one staying in the Santa Barbara area.

“Lovely peaceful spot” This house has been newly renovated with comfortable furniture and great appliances. The street is peaceful and private. It is a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing...there is even a hot tub to soak in and look at the stars. The only drawback to the location is that it really isn't within walking distance of the town and we had to take the car everywhere. Even if you could walk, the surrounding roads were too busy and had no sidewalks. But if you are looking for a lovely place to enjoy nature and get away from the hubbub, this is it!

“A great house for a family vacation!” We had a lovely week in this house during our recent family reunion. The home is large enough that everyone has privacy, and most of the decor and features are updated. However, it is casual enough for families with small children to feel comfortable. The best part of this house is definitely the outdoor pool area - beautiful fruit trees, a huge deck area, and a fabulous pool. The location is lovely, a short drive to town but removed in the hills. Walking distance to a great park, the Natural History Museum, and the Santa Barbara Mission. The secret perk that makes it feel luxurious is the white towels - there are tons of them in each bathroom!

“Fabulous cottage heart of downtown SB” Love, Love, Love! Perfect place to stay in Santa Barbara! Walking distance to everything downtown, super cute, wonderful decor inside and out. I highly recommend staying at Caza de Coco! Mimi is the best, I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay! Feeling lucky to have found this gem and looking forward to returning next year, and every year after!

“Perfect Vacation!” A perfect house, a perfect location, a perfect vacation! We read all the wonderful reviews before we booked this Malibu beach house and it was everything we read about and so much more. It was just beautiful! We would book it again in a heartbeat. “Perfect” Our family stayed here for a weekend in September and thoroughly enjoyed it! We live in Oxnard and needed a place for family visiting from out of town. The Dunes Hideaway was the perfect solution for us! The beach is close and the home is comfortable and clean! There are bikes for adults and toys for children. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is space for everyone! Jana has thought of everything you could possibly need and has it waiting for you. She is easy to work with and made the whole process simple, Our family will stay here again and again. The Dunes is set up with everything you need, Just bring yourself and desire for fun or relaxation, it's all close by. A book with menus from nearby restaurants and suggestions for local activities has been compiled by the owner and is a great resource if you choose to go out. The open concept kitchen makes staying at home tempting. A nice deck for BBQ-ing is a great bonus! You will love how easy it is to stay at the Dunes Hideaway!

“Wonderful Family Home” Our family had a wonderful time in your beautiful home - everything we needed was there - nothing was lacking. There was plenty of room and sleeping arrangements for everyone! We were able to drive to the snow to go sledding for the day and then come right back and play board games the whole night. What a wonderful way to re-connect as a family! “Fun Bachelor Weekend” This house was fantastic. We brought 11 guys up for my brother's bachelor party weekend. It was the perfect place for us to stay altogether (comfortably). There were more than enough beds and the kitchen was nice and large. In addition to its size, the location was great - close enough to the general store and the golf course. I highly recommend Heidi's Retreat (and Pine Mountain Club, generally) for a weekend of golf, hiking and even jousting!
