“Our stay was comfortable and relaxing.” The cabin we stayed in had every amenity we needed, plenty of firewood and gas for the grill, and a good amount of space and layout of rooms. Our only issues were somewhat minor: the hot water heater's pilot light was out when we arrived, and we had to wait until the following morning for someone to come light it because we didn't know where the hot water heater was to light it ourselves; and the downstairs level got quite smoky after we had lit fires in the upstairs fireplace. The location was perhaps a bit further from the Valley floor than we would have liked, but not so far that it prevented us from going there. Overall, we enjoyed the cabin very much. The plumbing and heating were good, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dining supplies, and there was plenty of space and comfortable seats for socializing and relaxing.

“Cozy Christmas” Comfortable accommodation for group of 6 adults and one child. Beautiful surroundings close to hiking trails. Well equipped kitchen with big table for group dinners. Wonderful fireplace.

“A little slice of heaven in our favorite place” We love Yosemite and have been visiting for 20 years now. We had never stayed in this area of the park and decided it was time. We found this cabin to be the perfect place for the two of us to celebrate my birthday. The fireplace was so wonderful and the wood is provided. The kitchen is the most well equipped that I have ever experienced in a vacation rental. The adirondack chairs on the deck were comfortable and peaceful...a perfect place for reading a good book. We were like many who wrote in the guestbook and gave up time in the park to just relax in this cabin. The entire area was so quiet and relaxing and at the same time it was easy to get to all the sites. Will return here for sure.

“Amazing!!!” I am a mother to four children (3 boys, 1 girl) and my husband surprised me with this trip. It was amazing! The staff was great. We stayed in Boots Haven (9), this is a charming cabin and very spacious. Clean and nicely stocked. Even though we were there during the government shutdown and weren't able to hike the trails it was still so beautiful. We enjoyed it so much we have vowed to return every year and maybe even bring the kids. ha ha ha

“A nice cozy stay and a wonderful price!” We arrived a bit late into the park but the folks at the Redwoods in Yosemite were nnice enough to leave all our check-in information out for pick up and so we stopped bythe office, found our envelope and immediately headed to the cozy little cabin called Cubby's Den. Inside we found it perfectly sized for us as we are only 2 adults and one kid. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio in front as well as using the fireplace in the evening. While the kitchen was a bit small for even two to try and cook, it worked out ok. The office staff called and checked in on us the next morning to make sure everything was ok, and were really nice about getting us more firestarter as we had some issues the first night since we didnt find any kindling. Overall a fantastic weekend stay in late October!

“Loved this Cabin!” This is a nice cabin complete with washer and dryer which really made our stay alot more comfortable (not having to run down to the laundry mat and sit and wait) The area was quiet and very woodsy just like we wanted. The cabin is very comfortable with nice beds and lots of nice "woodsy" decorator touches. It was easy to find and had ample convienent parking. The ladies at the office were very helpful and efficient. We had no problems with reservations or checking in or out. It was all in all a very plesant experience. We usually stay at yosemite west but decided to try something new this time and were pleasantly surprised by "the Redwoods" we will be back again, hopefully when there is snow! thanks for the memories.

“Good things come in small packages” This cabin may look small, but it has a big heart and is very warm and comfortable inside. Has all the modern conveniences you need (fully equipped kitchen, TV, Direct TV, DVD, heater, shower, comfortable bed)and is spacious enough for four people (much more comfortable for one or two though). Well worth the price to stay in Yosemite!!! This last October was my third time staying in #65 and I plan on returing again and again!

“great place to stay for a group get-away” We've stayed in this house 2 years in a row now with a couple of other families. It's in a great location and has everything you need for a nice weekend away with friends. It also has a nice bonus room where kids can play--but where you can keep an eye on them!

“Amazing cabin for large group” El Capitan was an amazing place to stay and enjoy all that Yosemite has to offer. The cabin itself was just beautiful and is great for a large family -- rather than staying in multiple hotel rooms. The customer service by The Redwoods was also over the top -- they were helpful, friendly and responsive to any requests. Would absolutely recommend this cabin for large groups or families -- we only wished we booked longer!

“What's not to like about the Redwoods?!?” Our cabin was welcoming, warm, and wonderful. Ample in size and adequately appointed. Perfectly placed, soothing setting with opulent outdoor deck for alfresco entertaining. Everything I needed and wanted for a vacation with comfort and convenience. Just wish I could have stayed longer.
