“A wonderful break on Gozo” The villa we rented was wonderful. It had everything we needed but above all it was replete with charm and character. Just what we wanted. The Villa owners were incredibly helpful with all the arrangements and anything else that we needed. We found Gozo to be a wonderful island for a break. Very easy to get around, plenty to see and do, fascinating culture and atmosphere etc. We would definitely go back. The only negative remark is the number of men with guns in the countryside at this time of year, shooting birds - illegally as I understand it.

“Really lovely place” A truly wonderful environment for what we wanted - a break from (UK) work. Great welcome from owner's parents and no trouble with anything. If you're arriving in the evening stop for a bit of shopping earlier as no local shops open at that time. We really enjoyed our relaxed holiday. We read books on the beautiful shady and sunny terrace, cooled down in the reasonable sized pool, loved the unusual architectural house layout and characterful interiors, shopped at the local store (a short drive to outskirts of Victoria), found lovely local squares and restaurants in the shadow of elegant churches. The island is pretty small and we got to the landmarks in what seemed like minutes! Only reason 4 stars for Comfort rating is the small kitchen without dishwasher - everything else excellent! Ps: best to take insect repellent against occasional bites.
