Response from the manager She never mentioned any of this while she was in. because of the long booking she asked if she could pay weekly I agreed, if it was so bad why not leave. When she made the first enquiry she took it as a booking I took it as an enquiry, by the time the enquiry became a booking I had received two further booking for two weekends in all three properties from people that had paid in full at time of booking so I had to honour there bookings The first day she arrived was for one day the people leaving that day went to work leaving there things and did not collect them until 4 in the afternoon the following day she had to move out because all three properties were booked for the weekend that she knew about If she was dissatisfied the I am soory

“Spacious, comfortable and clean - what more can you ask?”

Great rural location on top of the moors, with views to die for. The accommodation is part of a terrace on a working farm/riding school. The owner is friendly, welcoming and helpful and the rooms are huge and well furnished. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was clean and worked. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we were visiting the area again.

“Lovely location, but filthy!”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2012

We booked this property for a long weekend for myself, my husband and our 2 children who are 1 and 3. The property is impressive externally and on first glance was spacious inside with everything we needed. Unfortunately as we took a closer look, the place was filthy! We found cigarette ends on top of the fridge, crisp packets down the side of the bed, the highchair was covered in caked on food and mould, mould around the windows and showers, caustic soda crystals on the floor, the list goes on, suffice to say it was not the sort of place you would let a baby crawl! I tried to hiint that it needed cleaning to the lady in charge, but she was oblivious to it and simply showed me where the cleaning cupboard was to do it myself. We spent 2 hours cleaning the place, stayed one night, then left and went to a lovely, clean hotel.
