Description from owner

Description

The Granary is refurbished in Sept 2012, is a one bedroom cottage with en-suite bathroom, living room, small kitchen and with large private garden for relaxing on warm evenings after returning from your days out.

The cottage has double bed and is fully centrally heated(always warm), has TV(Freeview) and en-suite shower. Car parking for one car is at the front of the main Bay House.

Situated on Upper High Street, Broadway, and is minutes walk from the centre of Broadway, which comprises several restaurants, of high standard, pubs and shops. The cottages' location provides a peaceful retreat but very easy access to the main centre, walks up the upper high street and further to Broadway Tower.

Broadway is one of the most picturesque villages in England. It is also within easy reach of the rest of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-water and further to Warwick and Stratford.

The cottage is part of “Bay House” and sits behind “The Old House” and "The Old Grocery".

Access is via “Rams Alley” to the left of “Bay House”.

"The Old Grocery” served the village from the mid 1800's through to the 1980s. The Granary was the original store house for the grocery and often stored barrels of Guinness. Unfortunately no longer!

The Granary has been lovingly refurbished to give you a very comfortable holiday.

On return from a day visiting there is no better place in England than to relax in a cottage in the middle of Broadway.

“Excellent Little Cottage”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2021

Lovely little cosy cottage in the heart of the Broadway Village. Excellent coffee shops a short walk away, easy access to all amenities and beautiful local scenery. Fantastic experience

“Cosy and well appointed”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2021

So near to the centre of beautiful Broadway. We had the hottest week ever so were grateful for the fan particularly in the bedroom. So lovely to be able to leave the car and explore the countryside. We walked to Broadway Tower and there were various other pretty walks. Plenty of restaurants and some lovely shops. Beware the low beams in the bedroom, took us all week not to bang our heads. Very well equipped kitchen, everything you could need and the courtyard was a bonus.

“Perfect”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2018

We stayed at The Granary for 3 nights.. what a lovely little find! It's so small but has everything you need.. it's an ideal place to stay for a short break and wouldn't hesitate in returning... only one thing I can think of that was wrong were the pillows lol! The beds so comfy but pillows a little hard but didn't stop me having a good nights sleep. Definitely book and pay this place a visit

Response from the owner Amanda, Thank you for your review. IO will look into the softness of the pillows. There should be 2 soft and 2 harder so will replace if they are not. Hope we see you again. Greg
