Description

The Old House, built in the mid 1600's has recently been renovated (June 2013) to a high standard. It comprises 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, Lounge, kitchen/breakfast room and private garden.

It's modern features incorporating a sense of the age. Beams can be found in all of the main rooms including beautiful feature walls on the stairs and landing.

If you are staying in the Cotswolds you want to stay in a property that encapsulates the feeling of Broadway in the heart of the village.

The Old House is situated on the Upper High Street with parking on the frontage. The only letting property on the high street with frontage parking.

The main pubs, restaurants and shops are a minutes walk from the front door. Being so convenient is great when, after a night out, you can stroll up the high street and be back "home" within minutes.

Broadway is the jewel in the Cotswolds crown. It is small and quaint yet has enough restaurants to eat out at a different one each night of the week. The choices of restaurants cover from your local pub (as in the Crown and Trumpet) to more up market such as Russells and the Lygon Arms. Broadway also has standard chain fair and even a chip shop / restaurant serving alcohol! What could be better on a cold evening.

Broadway is very central to many of the attractions of the Cotswolds, Stratford, Warwick, Worcester, Cheltenham and even Oxford.

“Perfect”

Stayed in Broadway a number of times before but first time at The Old House. It’s was great. Ideal location on the top end of the high street, really clean, well equipped and couldn’t ask for more. It was the perfect place for us and would recommend to anyone.

“Lovely cottage in the heart of the village”

Last minute weekend booking for my mums birthday. Compact but lovely cottage in the heart of the village. Everything we needed was there. Owner (Greg) very attentive and a decent chap.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review. I have added further comment regarding stairs and asked if guests are unsure, to contact me directly. Regarding lack of response to direct question. I have traced through all my emails, texts, and call logs and find no contact so not sure how I would have been able to respond. I always respond to text,emails and calls so would appreciate you letting me know (and forward) details so I can trace why this may have occurred. I will also take note of the "have you settled in" call. I do admit that I don;t do this always but you are the first person to have commented.

“Small but perfecto formed!”

Fabulous cottage, it has everything you need with a fab courtyard garden which is a sun trap - if you get the weather! It's in a perfect location on Broadway, I would highly recommend the cottage.
