Description

Barn cottage is a 4 star conversion in local Ham stone set in an area of outstanding natural beauty.There are breathtaking views in all directions.We offer excellent walks or very quiet restful seclusion,with an abundance of wildlife nearby.The Heritage coast is only 6 miles away and we are peacefully situated off the B3162 Broadwindsor to Bridport road.We are not in the village of Stoke Abbott which is 1 mile away .Barn is capable of sleeping 4 to 6 people cots and high chairs are available at no cost,also include are linen and towels.The cottage is suitable for wheelchair users as it is all on one level and has a wheel in shower.The cottage is open plan with a central living /kitchen/lounge area.The bedrooms are at either end on has a double bed and bunk beds and has an ensuite bathroom, the other twin beds and an ensuite shower bathrooms. Electricity is inclusive

“Seriously good accomodation”

My wife and I spent a week staying at the Barn with our two golden retrievers. Property was clean, tidy and spacious and had everything we needed. Owners were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. Wi-Fi was brilliant as it helped us keep an eye on the weather forecast for a rather wet week and find places to go. Furnishings were modern and comfortable and a new flat screen TV was handy for watching Euro 2016 games. Only thing we would have changed would have been a private garden so dogs could be outside without the risk of chasing the other animals or escaping to the woods or muddy ponds! There was a fenced area a short distance from the house which they could exercise safely in.
