35RockRoad offers luxurious, modern accommodation in a quiet, residential road. It is in the perfect location for visiting Cambridge city centre with its beautiful colleges and great shopping. But also for access to Addenbrookes Hospital, various science parks, the Botanic Gardens, multiple language schools, Cherry Hinton Hall park and the train station.

We have implemented all recommendations of the Professional Association of Self-Caterers UK regarding cleaning measures related to Covid-19.

We will also send your our manual in pdf format in advance. Contactless check-in is possible.

Furthermore, we have adopted a 'relaxed' cancellation policy to help you plan your stay at minimum risk.

Our upside-down accommodation consists of:

On the first floor:

- Spacious living / dining room

- Open plan kitchen with all mod cons

- Luxurious bathroom

- Single bedroom

- Large balcony for outdoor dining

And on the ground floor:

- Master bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC

- Single bedroom

Facilities include: Large wide-screen TV, DVD/blu-ray player, free WiFi, HiFi stereo system internet radio, off-street parking, bicycle storage, dishwasher, washing machine, baby cot bed (on request), high chair (on request).

Four adults are comfortably catered for. Additionally, a baby cot bed is available on request for a baby / toddler.

As the first floor is accessed via a spiral staircase, we regret that this property is not suitable for people who have difficulty walking or climbing stairs.

Getting around

Getting around Cambridge couldn't be easier. Several bus stops can be found minutes from the house. The train station is also easily reached (15 mins walk). Or do as the locals and get around by bike: bicycle rental is available nearby and we provide free bike lock-up facilities.

Contactless check-in is possible. Check-in details will be provided shortly before arrival. We live next door to the property so we are available for questions or suggestions should you need us. The house is fully standalone, however, and your privacy is fully respected.

“Very convenient for station and city centre”

The house is in a quiet residential road within easy walking distance from the station and Cambridge centre. The house also benefits from off street parking. The house itself is very comfortable and well equipped. The owners live next door so when we couldn’t get the hang of the TV they were able to pop round and explain! We particularly liked the fact that the duvets were adaptable to suit the temperature. So often we have stayed in properties where the duvets were 14 tog regardless of the time of year. It is worth noting that the single room on the ground floor does not have access to a bathroom on that floor and the living accommodation and third bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor accessed via a spiral staircase so may not be suitable for everyone. But I would thoroughly recommend the property and happily return when visiting Cambridge again.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
