Description
Il podere Le Rogheta, ad 1 km dal villaggio di Campiglia D'Orcia, in provincia di Siena, è in luogo collinare e si affaccia su un ampio e splendido panorama.
Siamo nel Parco Artistico-Naturale-Culturale della VAL D'ORCIA, dichiarato nel 2004 dall'UNESCO Patrimonio dell'Umanità.
Un'area che coniuga la bellezza unica della campagna toscana a rinomati e preziosi centri artistici quali PIENZA, MONTEPULCIANO, MONTALCINO, S.QUIRICO D'ORCIA, suggestivi centri termali come BAGNO VIGNONI e BAGNI SAN FILIPPO, e piccoli borghi fermi nel tempo.
Ci troviamo alle pendici del Monte Amiata ed è possibile raggiungere in poco tempo i suoi freschi boschi di castagni e di faggi, refrigerio per le calde giornate estive.
Anche il mare non è lontano, circa un'ora e mezza per arrivare alla spiaggia “nature” di Alberese, area marina protetta nel Parco dell'UCCELLINA, vicino a Grosseto.
Meno di un'ora, invece, per raggiungere il bel LAGO DI BOLSENA, o i suggestivi luoghi etruschi di PITIGLIANO, SORANO, SOVANA.
Il nostro agriturismo è un vecchio podere ristrutturato, collocato in Val d'Orcia, vicino alla via FRANCIGENA, che nel medioevo veniva percorsa dai tanti Pellegrini che si recavano a Roma.
Si compone di una struttura principale più due annessi, circondati da campi di proprietà, di cui 7 ettari catalogati come seminativi e 3 ettari sono coltivati ad uliveto.
La casa principale ha due appartamenti (Casa Claudia al piano terra e Casa Letizia al piano primo) con ingressi indipendenti.
CASA LETIZIA è al piano alto e dispone di due camere: una doppia e un'altra con due letti. La cucina è arredata in stile vecchia toscana con un piccolo tavolo per mangiare. Si può pranzare pure sul tavolo più grande del soggiorno, dove si trovano anche i divani e un bel camino. Molto gradevole e panoramica è la piccola loggia sopra la scala d'ingresso, dove è possibile consumare il pasto o, semplicemente, stare seduti a bere vino con una vista a tutto campo. Sul retro dell'appartamento c'è una terrazza, in parte coperta, con un grande tavolo e alcune poltrone di vimini: una buona soluzione per stare all'aperto anche in condizioni climatiche non eccellenti.

“Rust en ruimte in Toscaanse heuvels”
Fantastische plek om bij te komen van de dagelijkse hectiek en helemaal Italie. De stilte van de natuur, het uitzicht op de ochtendmist die hangt tussen de Toscaanse heuvels, een wandeling over de versgemaaide paden van de olijfboomgaard op het terrein, in alle rust onder de hoger gelegen eik zitten en wegdromen bij het uitzicht over de val d'orcia en de lichtjes van Pienza als we buiten zitten te eten onder een prachtige sterrenhemel. Het huis en de omgeving heeft alles wat we nodig hebben. Mooie wandelroutes in de val d' Orcia. Een cappuccino in Campiglia als we bij de bakker brood hebben gehaald. De eigenaren staan klaar als het nodig is en hebben tips voor leuke plekjes. Als ik op de terugreis ben heb ik meteen heimwee.
