Description
Once a cow shed the barn has been converted into a stunning rural retreat retaining the original beams with the addition of slate floors, “wow” bathrooms, a state of the art log burner and antiques in abundance.
In this frantic world in which we live The Long House is able to offer our guests an oasis of calm and relaxation. Spacious enough for two couples but cosy enough for just two and if you have romance on your mind then there can be few places better than here in which to relax, unwind, play your favourite music, wine and dine your loved one and for those more adventurous there is even a copper bath big enough for two!
We aim to provide you with a home from home experience. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend countryside getaway. Peace and quiet, idyllic location, picturesque barn. All the home comforts you love and some extras you would normally expect from a boutique hotel. Our mission is to provide you with an unforgettable chilled out weekend.
The Long House is situated on the outskirts of a small, Oxfordshire village -
Charney Basset which is 25 minutes from Oxford, 30 minutes from the Cotswolds and just over an hour from Bath, Cheltenham and London.
Minimum stay - 3 night weekend breaks, longer stays by arrangement
