Description
The Barn at Redyeates Farm is a luxury self-catering holiday cottage (sleeps 4 to 10 + cot). THE BARN originally formed part of the 17th century Redyeates Farmhouse. Now brought up to date to provide 5* luxury accommodation, the Barn is a certain place for a relaxing time and has plenty to keep the children amused within our 3 acre gardens including our own recently resurfaced all-weather tennis court, table tennis, football, ultra-safe quality trampoline (no springs) and fantastic children's climbing frame. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, if you like a large bed, there are 2 super-king double bedrooms (both en-suite), a king-size bedroom and a twin bedded room (see bedroom details for further information). The property also benefits from a larger than average kitchen to relax in for family meals or if you prefer outside dining, it also has two separate patio areas and a BBQ overlooking the gardens and rolling Devon countryside beyond. With characterful high ceilings (galleried with beams) there is also a large split-level lounge and dining room. The lounge is a great place to socialise with a log burning stove and if the kitchen / diner is large enough for your needs (seats 10) then you can optionally also have the dining room table setup as an 8ft snooker / pool table for a small charge of £45 - just let us know when you book. The rooms can also be configured differently to allow for up to 10 people in a number of ways e.g. one of the double bedrooms can become 4 single beds or a double and a single. Please let us know when you book if you want a specific configuration or review further on our website. If you require a smaller property check to see if our Redyeates Dairy is available (Property ID 535360) or if you require a larger property check whether Property ID 539206 is available. Redyeates Farm is in mid-Devon in one of the best locations for getting to either the north or south coastline and is just 12 miles from either of the National Parks at Exmoor and Dartmoor. Locally there are some very good pubs and restaurants. Taxis and babysitting can easily be arranged in advance. If you like great days out, Redyeates Farm is well placed for easy access to everything that Devon has to offer without having to spend all day in the car. We do take bookings for short-breaks at certain times of the year i.e. outside of our peak times which is typically when the children are off school. Short breaks are either 3 nights (Friday to Monday) or 4 nights (Monday to Friday). Please email us or check the website for specific pricing and availability particularly if you have specific dates in mind. We generally don't accept stag / hen type weekends or young groups, but please enquire as there are some exceptions.

“Beautiful location and cottage was stunning with very welcoming owners.”
The cottage is in very private grounds with excellent views. All amenities were accounted for. The owners could not of been more helpful and welcoming. We used the tennis court every day and when the owners saw us playing badminton on the grounds they ordered a full size net and set it up for us a few days later. The property was clean and extremely comfortable (like home from home). The location allows you to visit either North or South Devon while using it as a base. Very tranquil. Beds were extremely comfortable. Could not recommend highly enough!
