Description
One of six charming self-catering converted houses in the grounds of Pekes Manor, Mounts View (with private sauna) is an eco-friendly house with full insulation and double glazing.
Mounts View is a large bungalow with 5 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 3 with twins, plus an extra single bed in the corridor alcove. Also 3 bathrooms, one of which is a “wet room”, a good kitchen and an exceptional sitting room with dining alcove and lovely views across rolling Wealden farmland.
The house has a fenced-in garden with a summer house, which makes it safe for children and pets. The Pekes estate comprises 28 acres and visitors to Mounts View have use of the extensive gardens & grounds, the hard tennis court and the indoor heated swimming pool. In summer months there is also a BBQ and Fire Bowl at the house.
Cedar wood, our state of the art all-weather 6-seater dry or wet heat barrel sauna, is situated on the terrace of Mounts View with easy access to the house.
Pekes Houses in East Sussex, situated 10 miles inland from the sea, is within easy driving distance of Brighton, Eastbourne and Lewes. A private estate up a drive of 350 yards with unspoilt views of the countryside, Pekes offers unique self-catering holidays in a very tranquil rural setting. The facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, lawn badminton, hard Macadam style tennis court and extensive gardens & park.
