Beautiful newly converted luxurious cottage, which has been superbly restored, in a stunning location, set at the edge of the pretty hamlet of Thickwood. One mile from the Cotswold village of Colerne and only 6 miles from Bath. Upper House Cottage offers light and airy accommodation with limed ScandiinavIan-style pine floors & fitted carpets in the bedrooms. This upside down house has the benefit of a large open plan sitting room and a fully
equipped kitchen on the first floor. From the sitting room French doors open onto a splendid deck facing West to catch the sunset. There is a table with 4 chairs & also a fully equipped charcoal barbecue. There are two double bedrooms downstairs, one with double bed and the other with twins. There is also a wet room with great shower.Full oil central heating, & constant hot water. Welcome pack on arrival to include wine (for 3 night plus rentals) organic eggs, milk, bread, homemade jams etc. Electric gates provide secure parking.

“Cosy cottage, lovely area”
Had a great stay over Xmas having thoroughly enjoyed the area and always came home to a warm and cosy cottage with all the amenities that you would need. Friendly owners made for a warm welcome in this quiet and beautiful corner of Wiltshire.

“Relaxing break away”
Charming cottage in a very peaceful location down a narrow country lane is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Loved the upside down design of the cottage. Open plan living area upstairs is bright and airy with all the amenities you need. We ate breakfast on the veranda enjoying the views across the fields and watched the sunsets with a G&T…..perfect! Good location if you want a tranquility but also easy access to explore places like Bath etc. Farm shop down the road is good and cafe is definitely worth a visit.

“Beautiful!”
What a beautiful cottage! Done out to a high standard it was warm and cosy and perfect for our needs. And what great views! We watched the sheep in the field and enjoyed the sunsets from the kitchen. Very close to Bristol but in the middle of nowhere - just what we wanted. And Will was a great host. Very helpful and attentive. We will definitely be back!
