“waouw” As we were entering the house, an armadillo came to welcome us. And we were told that we had just missed a whale swimming in the bay. Atmosphere was set up. Great secluded house. Amazing views and beach. Perfect for contemplation. Very good value for money.

“Paradise...check” My family found paradise ...Playa Hermosa. A very quaint town not overly run with tourist attractions. This condo was amazing. It was clean and comfortable with many fantastic amenities. We grilled out during a big football game here in the states. We swam laps and splashed around in the clean and quiet pool just feet from the condo. We were able to capture beautiful sunsets from the second floor balcony. The property staff also gave us limes and bananas picked on site that morning. A few step from the condo gets you to the ocean where the waves are crashing and the monkeys are playing over head. The on-site managers were friendly, kind, and very helpful suggesting things to do and see. The area was very safe. We all agreed we will return!

“Amazing experience!” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Actually sleeping in a tree, wow! But with all the comforts. It made for a special expereince that my husband and daughter enjoyed as much as I. Waking up in the morning the the sound of howler monkeys and a sloth actually came and visited us, as he or she was passing through the trees. Its very close to the beach, a 2 minute walk at tops. There were 2 great restaurants around the corner, on the beach. Good local food like coconut chicken. With bicicyles we road into the village of Cahuita to visit the National Park and do a little shopping. There are 2 mini supermarkets with everything you need, a bank and a drugstore, plus lots of little artisnal shops. We had a great time and can recommend this place absolutely, a must, if you are looking for a tree house experience!

“Paradise” We stayed in the 2 floor cabin with two bedrooms with our son's family and had a wonderful week! The hosts (Eladio and Vanessa)and staff make you feel like family! The gracias hostess brought out toys for the grandchildren and sent fruit from their trees for us to enjoy! We loved the pool which is very clean and does not have the bleach smell. As they talked with us by the pool we learned more of Guanacaste. The birds were absolutely beautiful. We saw: White-ringed Fly Catcher, humming birds, green parrots, Blue Crowned Motmot (which is usually only down in Cabo Blanco), Morning Doves, a Baltimore Orial, Blue Grey Tanger, and Bronze head Black Bird. We went to the Volcano (Vieja)one day but it was closed due to activity. So we walked down the the nearby falls. Absolutely gorgeous. Wear your bathing suit! Another day we went to a beach near Nicaragua but the water there was too cold due to the Humbult current - like the Gulf stream up North that warms the water, this stream cools the water. I recommend Colebra! It is only 30 minutes away and absolutely beautiful. Bring your bug spray though. Only the mattresses will make you want to go home. They were a little hard, but normal for the area.

“The best of Costa Rica and awesome People(rhyme, sort of)” All amenities listed are true so I won't be redundant there. We were lucky enough to stay at CasaMontezuma for a month and there was not a moment of regret with our decision at any time. The house itself is amazing, a beautiful structure indeed. With 5 people there it never seemed crowded and after staying at another house last year and visiting other's homes I can say that this place is unique and a good value. The outdoor areas are big and really comfortable, and with the incredible weather we spent most time lounging there. The location of the house is pretty ideal. Literally about a 3 minute walk to the breath taking and secluded beach where you can feel like you own the place many times of day. You also get to be equal distance from both Montezuma and Cabuya, two really cool and different types of villages. An easy walk, bike(bikes included) ride or bus trip to either. There is a hill behind the house with superb views of the cost and a pretty close by neighbor is a fisherman who sells the freshest seafood nearly daily from his yard. The owners Donna and Tito are who you want to rent from, really. They are endlessly informative and helpful, and friendly and entertaining as well. From day one all the way to the end they were great. Many times Donna offered rides on her way to town and assisted with planning and arranging day trips we took which would have otherwise been less successful. Tito has a vast knowledge of all things Costa Rican and his well of insights will have you feeling like a local. Casamontezuma really is a winner, cause you feel like you are at home, less like in a rental. But not just an ordinary home but a castle, cause it is cleaned for you every week!! Book with confidence and have the most relaxing time of your life. P.s. If the listed reasons don't sell you also know there are two resident dogs with personality to spare and a very charming pig and I can't imagine better ambassadors to Costa Rica than those three.

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! You won't be disappointed! To Amy, Geralyn and the rest of the staff at My Vacation Costa Rica, Thank you again for your hard work and the amazing experience!
