This large house to rent is available for big parties, country house weddings, holidays and more.

The Grounds

Additional Location Information

Many of our weekend groups like to have an activity arranged for them. Perhaps clay shooting or archery, or something more relaxing like a massage, some of which can take place at the house. We can also arrange catering, so that you can chill. This can be anything from a delivered supper to a celebration dinner with waitress service and drinks served on the lawn, weather permitting.

For those guests wanting to go further afield or who might be here on holiday, we are in a wonderful part of Somerset for walking, pub lunches, visits to the coast and boat trips (Lyme Regis is one of our favourites), riding and fishing to name but a few. Dunkeswell airfield offers taster flights, if you fancy an aerial view, or what about a balloon ride.

For families, we'd also recommend (having done it and loved it) cycling along the Taunton/Bridgwater canal or the new cycle path from Exeter to Exmouth with it's beautiful views across the estuary. There is high ropes in Taunton and for those who don't need that challenge, the crazy golf is just underneath. The Quantocks is wonderful for mountain biking and so too is Haldon Hill near Exeter.

But get in contact if there is something you have in mind and we'll see if we can arrange it for you.
