Description

Deal Holiday Apartment is part of a stylish terrace of Georgian townhouses, located in the heart of the seaside town of Deal. It is on the first and second floors in spacious, high ceilinged rooms. The Apartment has recently been renovated and now combines beautifully subtle paint colours with an eclectic mix of modern and vintage furniture. It has a contemporary kitchen and bathroom with a second lavatory upstairs. It has painted wooden floors and a delightful first floor bay window in the large sitting room, with a window seat in which to sit and watch the world go by.

The Apartment sleeps 5 people and has three bedrooms - one double, one twin, one single bedroom. From the garden, there is a set of wide stairs leading to a sunny terrace and on into the spacious first floor kitchen/dining room. The stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor are fairly steep so may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm. Deal Holiday Apartment is two minutes walk to the beach. There is a pay and display car park at the rear of the property.

The East Kent coastal town of Deal is a quirky mix of bohemian cafe culture and salty seaside strolls along the pier. Its elegant Georgian high street and conservation area contains some of the best preserved 18th century architecture in the country. Wander down Middle Street or saunter along the seafront and enjoy higgledy piggledy fisherman's cottages cheek by jowl with beautiful double fronted Georgian townhouses - Deal is a delight to explore and enjoy. Deal High Street offers an eclectic mix of independent retailers offering local produce, unusual arts and crafts, one-off fashion, vintage must-haves and cafes. On a Saturday morning, the market at the north end of the High Street is the place to be. You can find fabulous bunches of freshly picked flowers, seasonal plants, stalls selling freshly cooked cakes and preserves and vintage, antiques and junk in abundance – enjoy a finding a something unique with a bit of haggling into the bargain!

“Relaxing, cosy, a real home from home.”

We stayed in the apartment with friends and family for a for a long weekend, receiving a warm and informative welcome from Esme. The apartment was more spacious than we imagined and the kitchen is a great place to gather and chat with a lovely little terrace looking onto the cafe garden below. The high street was full of life, hustle and bustle on Saturday morning with the lovely contrast of a slow and peaceful start on Sunday - something we don't get in London. We love Deal and would certainly book again.
