There are two bedrooms including a master king and a back twin bedroom. A travel cot can fit in either bedroom. The family bathroom is on the same floor as the bedrooms. There is a small, walled paved courtyard with a bistro table set and Weber bbq.

Young children can play with the supplied toys, games and books and there are even a couple of microscooters to borrow (under the stairs). A travel cot can be provided as well as other baby/toddler equipment on request (highchair, travel cot, plastic cutlery, beakers, plates etc).

On your doorstep is Deal's vibrant high street with its delis, restaurants, coffee shops, vintage home interior shops and weekly markets. Days out can be spent on coastal walks beach combing or exploring the two English Heritage castles built by Henry VIII. Browse for antique collectables or take a high speed rib out to the Godwin Sands to see the resident seals. For golfers there are local Championship courses that include Royal Cinque Ports and Royal St. Georges.

With its Georgian seafront,1950s pier, pebble shoreline and independent shops Deal is a great destination at any time of the year. Deal is located between Sandwich and Dover and is loved by those who have discovered it. The cathedral city of Canterbury a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a 30 minute drive away.

If you are without a car then we are a five minute walk from the train station. There is plenty to explore on foot in Deal itself. Should you wish to travel further then there is a good public transport system plus taxis. There is free on street parking outside and on the surrounding streets.

“Ideal holiday Home”

Tastefully furnished, well equipped - the ideal holiday home. A geat place to come back to after a day on the beach or exploring the sourrounding countryside. Just perfect.

“Beautiful and relaxing”

My husband and I , and our two young daughters both under 5, stayed at the cottage last weekend. We had a lovely time. The cottage is gorgeous and very tastefully decorated. Claire had set up the travel cot for our baby so she easily transferred from being asleep in the car to the cot allowing us to have a relaxing evening. Both children enjoyed the cupboard full of toys and books. We have been to Deal before and really liked it but stayed at admirals rest made it even more fun. We'd love to stay again.

“Charming seaside retreat”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Admirals Rest. The house had everything we could want -- fully kitted kitchen, toys, scooters, books and bath toys! The baby cot and high chair were so handy. The location was ideal, close to high street, grocery stores, playgrounds and the beach. The house was so comfortable and beautiful to look at too -- we didn't want to leave!

Everything about Admirals Rest was a treat - all the booking arrangements went smoothly, thanks to Claire's friendly manner and efficiency,and her directions are spot-on. The cottage itself was a delight; we felt at home from the minute we opened the door. Nothing has been overlooked, everything we needed was to hand, including fresh eggs,milk, and a very welcome bottle of wine! The town centre is just minutes away, and even the neighbours are friendly. We'll definitely come again.
