Description

Our beautiful luxurious house is perfectly located on the sea front in Deal's conservation area - just moments from the High Street, shops, cafés and restaurants.

It has glorious sea views, particularly from the huge bay window of the first floor double living room and the top front bedroom. The bay window has a window seat big enough to stretch out in comfort and gaze out to sea - or even have a snooze!

The house is very spacious with three double bedrooms, four living rooms, two bathrooms, and an additional separate WC.

It also has a private courtyard and west facing sundeck with table and chairs.

Dating back to the 17th century, the house is Grade II listed. It has lots of period character, such as wood-panelling and original fireplaces. It is furnished with paintings, mahogany furniture, and plenty of comfortable sofas and armchairs. As it’s a very old house some of the doorways are low so tall people need to watch their heads.

The house has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard - including a new kitchen and new bathrooms.

The house has free wi-fi and free parking for one car on the seafront outside the house - other cars pay £7 a day. Or you can park for free further down the seafront.

New kitchen. Window and door to courtyard. Full size dishwasher, sink with separate drainer, double oven cooker, microwave. Well equipped with everything you need

Private outside courtyard: not overlooked by any neighbours here, or on the sundeck above. Newly installed outside heated shower.

Spiral iron staircase leads up to sun-deck.

Panelled hallway and landing, large sash window to front with desk overlooking sea - good space for working or writing.

Elegant back sitting room, with historic fireplace and panelling. Sofa, footstool, armchair. Large sash window and door to sun deck which is west and south facing.

Leads into large front sitting room. Bay sash window with glorious sea views and full-width window seat. Large sofa, 3 additional armchairs, wide screen smart TV, DVD player, CD DAB radio iPod dock. Books, DVDs, games.

Double bedroom, wood-panelled, kingsize bed, bedside chests and lamps, chest of drawers, wardrobe hanging space, window to rear. Ensuite bathroom with bath, toilet and basin, window.

“Great accommodation in an iDeal location”

This holiday home is conveniently located for the beach, shops, pubs & restaurants in Deal and the wider area of Kent. It is full of character and well presented, with all you need for your stay. The view of the beach / sea provides great interest. The owner is helpful and replies promptly.

“A great Deal”

We really enjoyed seeing Deal again and living in your lovely quirky house. We found the stairs a little challenging but with the sturdy handrails we all managed and felt we had saved on gym fees. Thank you for the wine and the super TV - great for family viewing especially epics. The only slight criticism was that the two single beds are a bit firm (I know some people like that) but perhaps a couple of mattress toppers kept in the ample wardrobes would help. The house is in the perfect position with the seaview and yet easy walking to Deal Castle and town centre.
