Description

Tanglewood cottage has four double bedrooms, one twin room ( with low headroom) and two single bedrooms, providing flexible self-catering accommodation for larger groups and families. The cottage has central heating and there is a wood burning stove in the dining room.

Facilities include three bathrooms — two with baths, one with a power shower over the bath and the third with a power shower. The dining room has a beautiful flagstone floor with an Inglenook fireplace.

The kitchen is fitted with a double range style cooker, American style fridge and dishwasher.

Outside, Tanglewood has two smallish seating areas and a gazebo in the orchard with a gas barbeque.

Bed linen is included. Please bring your own towels. Cots and highchairs are available on request (subject to availability). There is no charge for electricity.

A laundry is available on site and our games room has a pool table, books and a dvd library.

Wi-fi is available on-site but not always in the cottage due to very thick walls.

“Excellent cottage for a family”

Beautiful cottage in a very rural setting. We were a family of 6 adults and 5 children. We found the cottage spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Nearby attractions we visited were, the Tank museum, quarry caves and Bridport. Lyme Regis and Weymouth are within reach, a 40 minute drive. Car essential for this cottage being its' only down side.

“Lovely setting, spacious, comfortable house for all the family”

The family range from 6- 72 years and there was something for everyone; plenty of space for the young ones to play and BBQ facilities near the house for leisurely evenings. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of bathroom space for us all. We visited The Marquis of Lorne for a lovely meal and the Mangerton tea rooms serving beautiful cakes,veggie burgers and ploughmans lunches. Hive beach and West bay are nearby and we drove to Lyme Regis, Beer and Charmouth. We all had a really good time! Thank you, Adrian and Sue

“Fantastic Cottage in beautiful location”

Twelve of us (8 adults & 5 children) stayed at Tanglewood for a long weekend. It is beautifully situated amongst the rolling hills but only a short drive from Bridport which has all amenities. The cottage is well equipped and Adrian and Sue were really helpful during the booking process and while we were there. The place was well kept, clean and was plenty big enough for our large group. There was also loads of outside space for the children to run around in. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

How do damage deposits work?
