This is a delightful self-catering apartment that sleeps two ideally situated on the edge of The New Forest National Park, near the beautiful medieval city of Salisbury. Located in a peaceful country lane between the villages of Downton and Woodfalls, the apartment offers spacious split-level accommodation with separate entrance, kitchen, en-suite bathroom and own private gardens.The main room is light and airy with views over the garden and open farmland. Its modern well equipped offering a separate bath and large shower, King sized double bed with an option for twin beds on request. Picnic hamper, Bike Storage Racks, BBQ, OS Maps, Coffee Machine are just a few of the extras provided

We are set in a rural location so public transport is poor, a car is necessary. However it a great place to bring your bike and explore the forest and downs.

“Lovely place, great location”

Downton is lovely, 20/25 minutes walk. Make use of the bus for Salisbury. Plenty of good walking straight from the house or short drive into forest. Kings Head at Redlynch lovely and The Cuckoo Inn at Hemptworth, lunch only but good beer choice. Borough Cafe in Downton excellent Accommodation had all we needed, nice room, kitchen and garden with BBQ. Clean comfortable and quiet

Very much enjoyed our stay at Wich Hazel. We had everything we could want and the local town of Downton had very friendly folks. Enjoyed local food and grocery shopping there. It's well situated for exploring New Forest and parts of Wiltshire. Salisbury Park and Ride is just a short car ride away. Perfect place for a week. The garden outside the cottage is lovely in May!

How do damage deposits work?
