Description

Conversion to holiday bungalow Sept 2010. Set in rural surroundings on edge of a pretty village, in the grounds of our house.

The accommodation is for 2-3 in one comfortably appointed bedroom with a king-size bed which can be converted into two single beds, with a further leather sofa bed which has a pull out double bed. Please note when sofa bed is pulled out it does limit space in lounge. May be more ideal for 1 adult or two children to sleep on sofa bed.

The bedroom is fully carpeted with bedside table and wardrobe.

The lounge is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen including electric oven, grill and hob with a hooded extractor fan. Fridge with small freezer compartment and micro wave. Tiled standing area.

The lounge has a pull out leaf dining table and four chairs with a further two fold up stools. Wall mounted Flat screen TV with free view and sofa and leather bean bag.

The entrance which is tiled leads off to tiled shower room fitted with walk in corner shower, toilet, sink, heated ladder towel rail and storage unit.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable well appointed accommodation, beautiful gardens and great patio which was frequently used! Local cheese and cider was much appreciated and enjoyed. Phil and Lyn are great hosts and are there if you need them. Great location for Cheddar Gorge, Chew Valley Lake and more!! Thoroughly enjoyed our break, many thanks!

Response from the owner Thank you Jane we wish you had mentioned shower while you were staying with us as we would have got someone to look into variation of heat we have not anyone else mention this to us. Unfortunately our road is busier at the moment as harvest time is at its peak! Many farm vechicals are about in their busiest time of the year at all times of day and evening.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my partner and 10 month old son for our anniversary and first holiday away as a family, the annexe is a lovely place to stay, Lynn and Phil were very helpful and welcoming, the place itself had everything we could need, we only wish we could have stayed longer, I would definitely recommend to friends and family hopefully we will return in the future

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
