Bungalow in Eastbourne, Sussex, England Close To Sovereign Harbour, Shops, Restaurants And Beach
Recently refurbished and awarded 4 star rating by Visit England in July 2015 our 3 double bedroom bungalow in Eastbourne is close to Sovereign Harbour with children's play area, patio and garden area. Earlier this year we added a conservatory to the front of the building adding extra space into the property. Also in November 2016 we added an extension to the rear of the property consisting of a shower room/ toilet and utility area.
Wi-Fi access, Parking, Sky, 'Welcome' pack and £5 minimum Smart card electricity credit is all included. Additional Smart cards can be purchased either at reception or at an adjacent Smart card machine.
Sovereign Harbour has an Asda, a multiplex cinema, a hairdresser, TK Maxx, Boots, Next, Sports Direct, Harveys and other shops all only minutes away. It also has an Indian restaurant, a Thai, two Italians, two American diners, a Harvester and two wine bars. A short drive away by car, bus, or by foot for the more energetic, is Eastbourne town centre with its beach, shops, Victorian pier and theatres. Or why not venture into the lovely surrounding countryside? Take the children to Treasure Island or Fort Fun. Five minutes drive up the road is a Miniature Railway next to a public golf course. A twenty minute car drive away is Drusilla's Zoo with fun and entertainment for all the family or for those wanting the fresh air Beachy Head. “Really lovely bungalow”
I surprised my parents for their 68th Wedding Anniversary. Casa Cromarty exceeded all expectations. It was spotlessly clean and newly decorated. There are three bedrooms and two good sized bathrooms. The shower was essential for my parents. The beds were really comfortable. We had a lovely relaxing weekend and the well equipped kitchen meant we could stay in and cook. The conservatory at the front is lovely and we spend a lot of time in there. We will definitely return and I highly recommend this property.

“Eastbourne stay”
Lovely place, clean, comfortable beds, two good sized bathrooms,plenty of space inside and out, and a small welcome box of necessities was left on arrival. This was a few days away with friends and we all thourghly enjoyed.

I am sorry you found our property expensive, but at £140 per night for a 3 bedroom bungalow for six (£24 per person per night) in peak season including SKY Q (all be it not all channels) and free Wifi, Dvd player, dishwasher, washing machine, tumbledrier and two bathrooms on a private estate, I find it hard to believe you could get better value, particularly in a prime holiday resort in the South of England. The tv in the lounge is 32" and, in our view, ample for the room size, however, if you are used to a larger tv at home it may seem small. If you have not experienced SKY Q before it may take time to get used to the different system but with so many channels available it would take too long to list them all. We don't have SKY Sports or Cinema, however, we do provide a selection of DVD's for your entertainment. I accept everyone is different in their expectations and appreciate your comments. Response from the owner Thank you for your review of our bungalow, however, please be aware we clearly state both on Tripadvisor and our website, to which you are referred, that electricity is on a 'smart card' basis. We supply the first £5.00 minimum for your arrival. In addition we have recently installed a dishwasher, more economical than constantly washing up , and tumble dryer for guest use and there is a clothes drying rack in one of the cupboards. Electricity use in the summer months is minimal, however, at this time of year higher use is inevitable and dependent on your personal control of the heating thermostats. We also helped this customer by providing a bottom sheet for the travel cot at the eleventh hour ,which we advise is not normally included, as we believe customer care is of paramount importance.
