“Nice apartment close to both city centre and beautiful nature” The apartment was nice and clean with all facilities you may need. It's very comfortable (if you don't mind climbing stairs). Most tourist attractions are not far away and the apartment is very close to both nice walks in beautiful mountain landscape and low price food stores. The host was very helpful when we arrived, and it was possible to reach him with further questions during the stay.

“Fantastic accomodation and location” We hired this beautiful townhouse for a hen weekend and it was perfect. All the bedrooms were individual and amazingly decorated, the living room was a great size and very cosy, and the kitchen had everything that could be needed. Everything was of excellent quality and the little touches really made it special. We got a bus from the airport with a 10 min walk from Fountain Park, but a taxi back was under £20. Perfect location, a lovely walk into the centre of Edinburgh. I would highly recommend no 32 for any large groups visiting Edinburgh for a special occasion.

“Home from Home” My husband and I had a few days away and the apartment was perfect. It was a lovely apartment, nicely furnished and everything we needed had been provided even down to the starter package of tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and toilet roll. The little extras like books, videos and games were a nice touch and could see a family having a lovely time here with plenty to keep the kids occupied. If you did not want to walk into the centre of Edinburgh there was plenty buses to catch. The staff during the booking process were wonderful, very helpful

“Gorgeous boutique in the heart of the New Town” This boutique is spotlessly presented and ideally located in the heart of the New Town. Situated back from the street, the space was quiet, just perfect for relaxing and socialising in the generously spacious open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. The wet room would make the place appropriate for wheelchair users too. In short, I thoroughly recommend this boutique; it's great value for money and primely located for a wee Edinburgh getaway!

London Street Georgian Home

Edinburgh apartment

  • 2 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms
  • sleeps 4

“Great Location. Beautiful Decor.” Our family of 4 stayed at London Street Georgian Home during Christmas. We loved the location and the character of the neighborhood/interior. We walked everywhere. The location is next to a park in a nice part of Edinburgh. The home is very old - maybe 300 years and so has vaulted ceilings, windows, but they renovated the kitchen and bathrooms. All of this was romantic and very enjoyable. We gave this home a 4 star because of the following, which might be more personal to our needs. The heating - our son froze in one room while we were sweating in another room. One toilet has something installed where the guest can not use flushable wipees. The tub room was off of the hallway and so wasn't private/peaceful while other family put away clothes or got ready for bed. The shower went from hot to cold to hot water every few seconds in the master bedroom bath. Having said all this, the home is older and so one can expect some of these things. However, the neighbors were friendly, the location is close to everything, the decor is romantic and well done. It is certainly worth staying there.

“Great location - close to everything” A fabulous flat, with everything we needed including the WiFi (my son's greatest need!) The perfect location for sightseeing - everything is on the doorstep. Large rooms, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen for when we did chose to eat at home rather than the local restaurants. Great views from the bedroom windows.

“Brill place to stay.” The accommodation is completely homely and the setting is delightful. The Garden at the Garden Flat is a real treat at the front, and with a fantastic view north this really is a superb place to stay. Richard and Dawn made a real effort to ensure we had everything we could possibly need for our stay and we highly commend them for their attention to detail - everything is just as comfortable as can be! Within a short walk you can easily access a good range of shops or The Pentland Hills. There is a regular bus service into the city centre and free car parking at the rail station for trains into Edinburgh or Glasgow. There is also a very good pub only a short distance away. All in all a great place to stay, charming hosts with lots of places to explore and things to do!

“Really nice stay in Edinburgh” My friends and I stayed a week at the flat on New Year's Eve. We choose this location because it was central, we were not disappointed: 5-10min walk to Princes Street and Waverley station (citylink stop). 15min walk to go on top of Calton Hill and enjoy the view. Shops and pubs nearby. The flat was really well fournished (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, towels, soap... all you need for a serenely stay) We also enjoyed the great street party. The hogmanay fireworks was really good as well. If you like dancing don't hesitate for a Ceilidh experience. The teannaich band were awesome! Enjoy a stay in Edinburgh in a really nice place. Good value!

“Incredible Set up” I can't say enough about this flat. The location is perfect right on the mile only 5 minutes from Waverly Station. It's spacious, comfortable, and has all the ammenities for a group. I kept it a secret from the rest of my group so when they arrived they were completely blown away. If you want a comfortable stay right in the heart of Edinburgh this is the place. It's one of those accommodations that make you wish you could have spent more time inside.

About Edinburgh

Charming Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and one of the most stunning cities in the British Isles. Start your visit to Edinburgh with a walking tour or open-top bus ride around the city. As you will quickly learn, Edinburgh's interesting mix of beautiful and historic architecture is one of the city's greatest attractions. In the city center, Old Town is an inspiring neighborhood of medieval buildings and churches, complimented by the Georgian constructions in adjoining New Town. Above it all, Edinburgh Castle rises on a windy bluff overlooking the city, lending majesty to the landscape.

The best time to visit Edinburgh is during the city's long, warm summer months. During late August, the celebrated Edinburgh International Festival brings music, dance, theater, and art events to the city from world-renowned artists. Edinburgh can be chilly in the winter, though the townsfolk certainly do their best to keep their cheer in the wintry months. The annual tree-lighting ceremony and Santa parade make Christmas in Edinburgh magical.

No matter when you choose to visit, don't miss:

  • Edinburgh Castle: Built on a hilltop, this impressive medieval castle was home to a series of Scottish kings; today, it is a museum that holds Scotland's crown jewels.
  • Arthur's Seat: Standing over Holyrood Park, this dormant volcano offers a great view of the city below.
  • City Art Center: Enjoy the best of Scottish art at this nine-story city museum, which features historic and contemporary work.
  • Royal Botanic Garden: Don't miss the opportunity to wander around this charming and perfectly tended public garden.
  • National Gallery of Scotland: The country's national gallery maintains an impressive collection of Medieval, Renaissance, and modern art.
  • Scotch Whisky Experience: At this fun and unusual museum, you can learn about the history of Scotland's famous liquor, as well as its distillation process.

There are lovely vacation rentals, from apartments to luxury condos, available in Edinburgh's city center. If you want to enjoy the beauty of the Scottish highlands, look for a spacious villa or private home outside the city center.

The Penthouse * The Royal Mile
Incredible apartment in the absolute perfect Edinburgh location

We had an amazing visit to this spectacular apartment on the Royal Mile. Walk out the door and you are right in the middle of everything Edinburgh has to offer - we walked to Edinburgh Castle, Arthur's Seat, restaurants, multiple Fringe Festival venues - everywhere. We didn't hire a taxi the whole trip. We had such perfect accommodations our friends also on holiday came to us, and the views, kitchen and layout of the flat are perfect for entertaining. Far more well appointed and luxurious than I've come to expect from a rental property. We're already contemplating a return trip to Edinburgh, and whether we come back may depend on whether we can stay here again...see more
Eve's Old Fishmarket Close, Old Town, Edinburgh
Eve and the flat were fantastic

If you are staying in Edinburgh I do not think you could find a nicer place or a more welcoming hostess then Eve. The flat was conveniently located, had everything you could want and was a quiet comfortable harbor after a day out in the tempest that can sometimes be travel. I would recommend this place to anyone and know that when I return to Edinburgh I will make sure my dates coincide with when Eve's flat is available. Kevinsee more
