Description

Located on the shoreline of Chichester and Langstone Harbours, a short walk from Emsworth, this two bedroom Deckhouse is a novel yet practical design dating from the 1960's. It is part of a unique development of deckhouses that were originally built as yachtsmen's weekend and holiday houses.

The deckhouses are set in a tranquil parkland setting that contains two natural ponds. The Sussex Border Path passes beside as it follows the contours of Chichester Harbour and Thorney Island.

The accommodation is light and airy with floor to ceiling windows in the living room and master bedroom, which both open onto a south west facing balcony with glimpses of Chichester Harbour.

The master bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has bunk beds with a further 'trundle' bed being which pulls out from under the bottom bunk. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with electric shower above the bath. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed.

“Nice and quiet deckhouse fully equiped,”

We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable home with everything you need on a holiday. Quit place near beautiful nature and water. Only 10 minutes walk from the old part of Emsworth villages with some stores and pubs. Friendly and helpfull owner which responds by app vert quickly. Going to Hayling or other place in the south you should rent this place!

“3 Avocet Quay holiday let whilst we were buying a new home”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully positioned Emsworth deckhouse. We spent 7 weeks here and loved being so close to Emsworth's beautiful harbour. The deckhouse is fully furnished, the kitchen in particular is so well equipped. The deckhouse is charming, clean and freshly decorated. We'll miss the sounds of the boat yard and sea sending us to sleep oh and seeing the local pheasants and gipsy horses each day. Great value escape for all seasons, real home from home

“Excellent marina residence”

Situated just off a working Marina this Deckhouse takes you to a different world. You feel compelled to just walk everywhere, the marina, Emsworth town and coastal walks, but mind out for high tides!
