Exeter Lodge is the perfect country retreat. Wile away the hours amid acres of ancient woodland, soaking up the magnificent views of the Exe Estuary. Exeter Lodge's location will appeal to everyone. Whether you're looking for an active family holiday, a chance to explore glorious Devon by foot or simply the opportunity to relax, the area is perfect for you.This picturesque character cottage is located in the heart of rural Devon, within easy distance of Exeter, Dawlish, Exmouth & Dartmoor. Our large garden allows plenty of space for families to relax and enjoy the outdoors, while the surrounding woodland offer plenty of opportunity to explore. New for 2015! Enjoy a lengthy dip in our luxury hot tub (upon request at a charge) while indulging in the peaceful, tranquility of our idyllic location. Secure off-road parking available at the Lodge, with space for 2 - 3 cars.

Hot tub is available upon request, please do ask for a price for your stay.. Chickens roam freely and there is a cat on site so only 1 well behaved dog welcome.

No campervans or caravans.

“wonderful, relaxing, over too soon”

Thank you, thank you, such a lovely place in a lovely setting we stayed for 3 nights and were very sorry to leave. Loved the views & spent a lot of time taking them in, ever changing with the weather. I very much enjoyed the hot tub even in the bad weather! If my husband lost me that's where I could be found enjoying the peaceful location and watching the wildlife My husband is disabled the lodge is very accessible particularly door widths and heights of things and being quite open plan made for a stress free stay all is very accessible apart from entrance and bath/shower but we were aware of this before coming having discussed with Nicky and the photos show exactly how things are It is very difficult to find property with all needs catered for where you want to stay but this comes very close. Maybe a ramp to one of the side doors but that's maybe not possible with planning or I would think it would be there. So all in all a fantastic place to stay with freshly laid eggs thrown in for good measure (thank you, delicious) A lovely part of the world a wonderful short break Hope I'm lucky enough to come again

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nicky (the owner) a message.

If Nicky (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
