DESCRIPTION
The Villa “Rose del Chianti “ is situated on top of a picturesque hill close to the ancient medieval site of Gaville Castle, just 15 minutes drive from Greve in Chianti and Figline Valdarno and 40 minutes from Florence (by train or car) Siena and Arezzo. Just the real heart of Tuscany.
The Villa has 2 floors (140 sqm). It is an independent structure which is completely separated from the owner’s house, however it remains close to it for any need.
It is situated in a quiet an peaceful area surrounded by olive groves. It overlooks a large private garden composed by several yards, porches, terraces and green areas full of flowers, where everyone can find his ideal place to relax and enjoy the countryside with its charm and picturesque view.
The Villa is an ideal place for family holidays all year round.
GROUND FLOOR
The floor is composed of 5 rooms: a living room, a kitchen, a laundry room, a small office and a bathroom.
Coming from the garden and passing through double French windows it is possible to enter the living room furnished with a sofa and comfortable armchairs, TV and a rich collection of children toys and books available for use.
The dining room, located on the right, has a large table which can host up to 14 guests.
Close to the living room and near the doorway, there is a small office with a desk and a reading area.
On the ground floor there is a laundry room facility with a washing machine, ironing area, a large fridge and a freezer.
On the other side of the laundry, you can find the kitchen that is equipped with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a confortable table for breakfast for 8 guests. From the kitchen you can access the yard with all the necessary for lunch and dinner outside and a barbecue area. Close to the kitchen there is a wood-fired oven which is fantastic for cooking pizzas and typical Tuscan dishes and it will be possible to use it with the mandatory assistance of the owners.
There is a bathroom with a shower on the ground floor.
A stone staircase permits to access the first floor.
FIRST FLOOR
The floor is composed of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a square terrace with relaxation facilities. All rooms have a wonderful view on the countryside.
The “Blue bedroom” has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and a shower.
The “Red bedroom” has two single large size beds, easy to transform in a confortable king-size bed.
The “Roses’s bedroom” has one single large size bed and the “Poppy’s bedroom” has a bunk bed which is wonderful for teenagers. This room has a shaded and cool terrace, enjoyable especially in the morning.
The other bathroom on the floor has a large sink, toilet and a shower.
The Blue” and the “Red” bedrooms are big enough to host a third single bed for an adult or a little bed for children. All rooms are supplied with a wardrobe.
SWIMMING POOL and GARDEN
The pool is surrounded by olive trees and it is situated on the border of an oak tree forest which runs along the property. The Pool dimension is 50 sqm. The pool has confortable under water seats with massaging water jets, perfect for relaxing reading or enjoing fresh drink while refreshing in the water.
Solarium area, extended for 160sqm, is furnished with relaxing facilities and it is paved in travertine.Thank to the panorama it is a wonderful area for cocktails.
The garden presents several outside dining spaces as well as several porches for relaxation and green areas for 450sqm.
LOCATION
The Villa is accessible via a private country road that immediately allows to dominate the view of all the surrounding hills and valleys. The villa has a private and independent access gate.
Terraces, garden, parking and the swimming pool are available for exclusive use of guests, for 600sqm.
ABOUT US
The owners have moved here from Florence over 40 years ago and decorated the garden and the villa with typical Florentine taste and elegance. Main villa’s and garden’s furniture are designed by the owner and are realized by local wrought iron and ceramic artists. Most of the pictures that decorate all the rooms represent ancient and modern images of Florence realized by famous and historic illustrators like Zocchi and Alinari.
The owners' passion for trees and flowers, especially ancient roses, have made unique the garden surrounding the villa, that is full of uncommon plants. The property is also dominated by an ancient cypress, today reported as monumental tree of Italian forests. The surrounding estate includes 6 hectares.

The owner produces delicious oil considered one of the most fine of the countryside around.
