The villa is situated in the hills that ascend from the city of Florence towards Chianti. It is part of a large historic estate belonging to an aristocratic Florentine family. The countryside all around is a succession of woods, olive groves and vineyards, dotted with farmhouses and the bell-towers of little parish churches. Soaring above all are the lofty cypresses that are the symbol of Tuscany. This is a perfect choice of holiday for sophisticated groups who love Tuscany and everything that this region represents in culture and history. The nearby Via Chiantigiana offers a perfect route, panoramic in some stretches, for reaching the most famous places in Chianti such as Greve, San Polo and Panzano or nearby Siena. From Panzano onwards the road follows the crests of the hills, offering a succession of unique vistas. Visitors are simply spoilt for choice as to where to stop to take photos to recall an unforgettable holiday. Florence is just 20 minutes’ drive away, but it is also possible to use the public transport available just a few kilometres from the property which will save you the trouble of looking for a parking place in the city. For golf lovers, the superb course of the Ugolino golf club is very close. The large garden has two fully equipped pergolas where guests can relax or dine in the open air. On a lower terrace there is the infinity-edge swimming pool (12x8 m, 1.50 m deep)(01/05-15/10) with next to it the pool-house with shower and fridge for drinks. The villa is mostly furnished with antique pieces which help to maintain its particular charm. The rental includes: buffet breakfast (strictly served between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.), daily maid service from 9am to 1pm (except Saturday and Sunday), bedroom and bathroom linen with weekly change. Central heating and air conditioning in all the bedrooms (mobile units), stairlift to reach the first floor. On request and to be paid on the spot: extra domestic help or extra bathroom linen changes, cook, cookery courses and babysitting. Parking right outside the main gate.

PLEASE NOTE: The owner lives in the other wing of the villa, with completely independent entrance and gardens so that reciprocal privacy is fully guaranteed. Electricity included up to 1250 kWh (over 1250 kWh/to be paid upon consumption).
