Escape to a private studio guest suite in beautiful remote Hana, Maui. The air conditioned guest suite offers a comfortable king size bed, private well-equipped cooking area, and full private bath with tub and shower. A great place to wind down after a long day of exploring the wonders of East Maui. After a quiet night's rest, dozens of beautiful rain-forest songbirds will gently wake you in the morning.
The private and secluded entrance to the suite includes cable TV and free Wi-Fi service to keep you connected to the rest of the world while you enjoy your privacy. Please remember you are in a tropical rainforest jungle in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Reception and WiFi cable may be sporadic due to weather conditions and the temperament of the Hana Time Warner Cable system.
Indulge yourself in the many fruit trees located on the property. We request that you check in before dark.
The kitchen is fully stocked with Cuisinart, blender, Melitta coffeemaker, mixer, toaster, a fondue pot and sterno (we have wonderful Maui raised beef that can be purchased at the local grocery stores in Hana), and just about every utensil you would need to make delicious meals.
There is an outside grill - and across the street (if you arrive in Hana before 3 pm, the Hana Health Center sells fresh vegetables that they grow on the property). The refrigerator has a freezer so, if you like ice cream, look for Roselani Ice Cream (made on Maui) at the Hana stores - this is an experience you do not want to miss - every flavor is delicious.
We have lime, lemon, papaya, coconut, avocado, banana, mango and bread fruit trees on the property. Something is always producing fruit. We have a garden with fresh basil, parsley, rosemary, thyme, oregano, tomatoes, okra and butternut squash (when in season).
The property is rejuvenating and Hana brings out creativity - everyone always says how wonderful they feel and that their only regret is that they didn't plan to stay longer.
Explore Hana Town and visit the local shops and food stands along the road. Visit amazing tropical wonders such as Red Sand Beach, Hamoa Bay, Venus Pool and the unforgettable Bamboo Forest in Kipahulu. Taste ono grinds and true organic vegetables and fruits at local markets. Meet the locals and experience what true Hawaiian culture and life is all about.
Take note that the road to Hana is a long and winding one - both ways. Be prepared to spend a full day driving one way. We recommend driving the highway in its entirety, it is an experience in its own. Time your adventure right and witness sunset at Haleakala Crater - - 10,000 feet!
Your journey to Hana - in car, on bike, or even on foot - is waiting, come visit!

A quiet and refreshing retreat from fast paced Baltimore life! This was a perfect place to stay in Hana! This is a beautiful, comfortable home in a very private setting. The home is impeccably clean and well maintained with great amenities and a shower with water pressure! Dale & Ginny were perfect hosts, they welcomed us with big smiles and open arms. Their attention to detail created a supreme level of comfort with nice quality linens and towels. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute. Hana is a very small, quaint town where you can enjoy everything mother nature has to offer from watching the sunrise on a black sand beach to seeing the brilliant glow of the stars at night. We hiked at Wai'anapanapa State Park one day and went on kayaking/snorkeling adventure at Hana Bay Beach the next. There was a farmers market directly across the street where we found delicious local treats. I would definitely recommend this home for anyone to enjoy his or her stay in Hana! We are already planning a return visit :)
