Description
This spacious flat is on St Leonards seafront, close to the new pier, Warrior Square, Hastings, the Jerwood gallery etc, many restaurants, the beach, and all sorts of other activities. It has amazing views from its roomy balcony, high ceilings and a great location. It's laid out in shabby chic style, bare floorboards, rugs, open plan, etc. It's a very comfortable space and place to deeply relax in. A wonderful antidote to city life...a few minutes here and you're totally chilled out!
(NB. The flat is about a five minutes walk from St Leonards station, three minutes from the pier, and about a 10 minute walk from old town Hastings. Parking outside the flat is cheap pay parking and there is loads of free parking in the streets behind the flat, about two minutes walk away.)

“More shabby than chic”
Location excellent, a good base for the area. Flat in dire need of refurbishment, Seats at dinning table not safe to sit on as temporary repair screws have fallen out. Fitments in bathroom falling of the wall. Balcony requires a good clean up and then could be amazing. Coffee table old tea box, Cable drums used for bedside cabinet and small table. More shabby than chic, will not be returning.

Response from the owner Well, this is a, er, somewhat harsh review :). What can I say? My taste is certainly somewhat eclectic, but that’s the point really. The tea box and cable drums etc are all very much part of that. As for the dining chairs, they are all sound and often bear the weight of my plumper friends as well as the slimmer ones. I’m not sure what bathroom fitments are falling of the wall as they aren’t, but the loo roll holder does move a bit from side to side so I’ll surmise that’s what’s being referred to. It is a sad fact of life that you can’t please everyone and, sadly, in this case I haven’t. Normally, I’m delighted to say, people really enjoy staying.

“Such a relaxing stay”
We really Enjoyed our stay. It was a very original place to spend some time. Nothing will ever beat sitting out on the balcony during a storm!

“Peaceful and Comfortable Seaside Getaway”
I genuinely loved my stay at Neil’s homey and comfortable flat. It provided a zen place to decompress and the location and views could not have been better. Would absolutely stay here again.

“Super Relaxing”
This is a very cool little flat by the sea. We felt completely at home and spent lots of time on the balcony enjoying watching the sea, the boats and all the people walking on the promenade. We are planning to return whenever we need to re-charge.
