Description

Find total peace and quiet in this beautiful location. Anstey Mills Cottage (Quality in Tourism: 4 star Gold) is one of two barn conversions at the end of a single lane on a non-working farm. East Liscombe has been in the family for over 60 years and Doris is running the holiday cottage since 1998. Quality in Tourism has repeatedly awarded the cottage the 4 star Gold rating, highlighting the quality of the accommodation, its features and cleanliness.
Three large bedrooms with quality bed linen and feather duvets easily accommodate 6 + 1, the large farmhouse table is focal point in the spacious kitchen, in the living room it is the wood burner. This is the ideal place for families but still feel cosy for just two. Walkers and dogs are regular visitors, as we are on a bridle way which goes right along the Devon Longhouse of which the host inhabits the other half, thus being on site to help and advise if this is wished.
The cottage has a large private garden and 3 parking spaces outside the front door.
The Exmoor National Park is bordering the property which is right on the Devon/Somerset divide. This allows access to miles of beautiful landscapes equidistant to both coasts. Historic towns and villages attract with wonderful pubs and shops. Gardens and family attractions are found in abundance. There is so much to see, you might want to come again and again....

“Anstey Mills Cottage”

Just returned from a lovely holiday at Anstey Mills Cottage which was just what we had hoped for and more. Clean, spacious, so well equipped and in a perfect spot to explore not only Exmoor but the fantastic coastline Devon has to offer. Doris our host was always on hand to help and make sure we got the most out of our stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property for families looking for a nice holiday away from it all.
