Description

The Gamekeepers cottage is set in the beautiful Peak District national park in National trust area, nestled in woodland at the foot of the Hayfield moorland all the way to Kinder and surrounding areas.

The stunning grade two star listed, Cottage, a former stables and cart house,has had a full tasteful renovation and is in excellent condition.

Perfect for walkers/Cyclists or those just wanting a quiet relax in the countryside.

The local area boasts some lovely tourist venues including Lakes, and quaint villages.

Local shops are a plenty and traditional pubs are the hot pickings of this area.

Should you wish to go a little further afield, Buxton is just 5 miles and Manchester just a 25 minute drive away.

The key is located in a keysafe. Due to work commitments I do not always get chance to meet my guests during their stay but where possible I always do my best just to drop in with a friendly hello. I'm always accessible by phone should I ever be required.

“Lovely cottage”

Lovely cottage right in the heart of the peaks. Peaceful (apart from the peacocks which were beautiful but loud!) We had a happy family holiday there thankyou. Comfy beds!

Great cottage, had everything we needed though not sure I'd like to fit 7 people in. Great base for visiting everything we wanted to. Peacocks very vocal but just added to the charm

“Beautiful location for perfect break”

Approach to property is up a track road but (we were driving a mini so absolutely fine) the cottage suddenly appears and first impressions is stunning. There is space to park. Very quiet location peacocks and ducks very friendly. The cottage is very spacious and nicely decorated. Would recommend, especially for couple getaway,

“Hidden Gem”

Had an amazing night stay in this beautiful cottage. Tucked away in the woods, its a magical little place. Complete with peacocks roaming free, a carp pond and original feautures inside. Would definitely recommend.

“Charming cottage on the doorstep of Kinder”

How do damage deposits work?
