Description
Located in Impruneta, a charming town on the edge of Chianti, Apartment Eleonora is a large studio (35 sqm - 375 sqft) consisting of:
• Room / living room with kitchenette and double bed
• Bathroom with shower
The spacious room has two large windows with a stunning view on the park and on Chianti hills.
Old terracotta floors and high hand decorated ceilings.
All furniture and paintings on the walls are antique and belong to our family collection.
Walls are thicker than 50 cm, as it was use in this kind of old building to ensure cool even in the hottest summers.
Apartment Eleonora is located on the second floor of our family property, Villa Saladini, a 16th century Manor Villa surrounded by olive groves and by a huge and beautiful park frequented by deer, squirrel and a huge variety of birds. In the garden you will find table and chairs and deck chairs to relax in the green.
The Villa is located less than 1 km from the town's main square and there is a bus stop for the nearby city of Florence (13 Km) in front of entrance gate.
The bus route is very convenient to go to Florence during the day and come back at dinner time. We will give you all timetables. (More info in the "Getting there" section).
We do our best to make our guests feel as if they were at home.
Upon your arrival we will welcome you with Florence and Chianti maps, tourist information including main museums opening hours, discount rates for nearby restaurants, list of wineries for wine tastings, bus timetables, etc.
In the hope of meeting all your needs, we have organized to offer various additional services on request: continental or international breakfast, home made dinner, car with driver for Chianti or sightseeing tours, wine tastings, professional cooking lessons (we have an agreement with a cooking school to have a professional chef teaching private lessons in the Villa kitchen), non professional cooking lessons (a good housewife knows how to make home made pasta :)), guided Florence tours with a professional guide, shuttle service... and many more.
If you are interested in something in particular, just ask and we will give you more details.
We will also go shopping for you, if you like, so that everything you need is already inside the apartment on arrival.
Villa Saladini is therefore the ideal place to relax surrounded by a beautiful environment, entering the atmosphere of Tuscan tradition but also an excellent base for visiting Florence, the fascinating Chianti area and the most beautiful towns in Tuscany. You will love it!

“Superb Hosts”
We have stayed with Perla and Marco 3 times in not so many years. They are perfect hosts,as are their 2 children. Nothing is too much to ask and Perla is a very good source of local knowledge. She will even send you links to the best restaurants, outdoor spa's and places of interest off the beaten track. Accommodation is just right and if you want to stay away from the outside world the only thing that could stop you is free wi-fi. Tv channels are 99% Italian!!
