Description

Kingsbridge is market town located only two miles away and contains many shops, cafes, and a new sports centre with a quay were many boats dock.

Churchstow has a shop and post office and a pub which cooks delightful meals and only six miles away from the sailing mecca of Salcombe.

A hourly bus stop is located within a few minutes walk to the property taking you as far as Plymouth and Dartmouth with connection at KIngsbridge to Hope Cove, Thurlstone, Totnes and Salome.

Thurlestone and Hope Cove with stunning sandy beaches and for exploring the coastal footpaths.

For golfers there are first class courses at Bigbury and Thurlestone.

Dartmouth is a nearby fine old town with it's interesting shops and buildings with panoramic views of surrounding countryside and Salcombe.

The bungalow benefits from Wi- fi and Telephone facility as well as bath and hand towels that are placed in every bedroom.

Kitchen: With an electric cooker an extractor fan, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine, dishwasher and a breakfast bar. It overlooks the rolling Devon countryside.

Lounge: Includes a SmartTV and DVD player as well as dining table with chairs, a three seater and a two seater reclining sofas, southerly facing the Devon countryside.

Bathroom: Coloured suite with an electric shower over bath.

Bedroom 1:Colour co-ordinated with fitted wardrobes and dressing table, a King size bed, bedside cabinets, lamps and a colour TV with built in DVD player.

Bedroom 2: Colour co-ordinated with two wardrobes, three single beds, bedside cabinets and a colour TV and built in DVD player. It has a french windows leading onto a secure private back patio.

Length of Stay:

Keys may be collected from 2.30pm on the check in afternoon at the start of the stay. The bungalow will be vacated not later than 10am on the morning of check out.

Booking:

A booking is completed once the booking firm is completed, signed and returned together with a £50 deposit. Provisional telephone bookings must be confirmed within 5 working days of the telephone call. For bookings made less than six weeks before arrival, the total amount is due.

Length of Stay:

The periods of stay will run from Saturday to Saturday inclusive, and it is expected that the bungalow will be vacated not later than 10am on the Saturday morning. Keys may be collected from 2.30pm on the Saturday afternoon at the start of the stay.

Cancellations:

All cancellations must be notified in writing. In the event of a cancellation of a booking, for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited. In addition, when a provisional booking has been confirmed, the tenant is responsible for the total rent and is due for payment six weeks prior to commencing the holiday. If we are able to re-let the property, a refund will be paid.

Cleaning:

In order that everyone visiting Ambermist is able to have a pleasureable holiday, we ask that you consider the guests who follow and leave the bungalow clean and tidy.

We regret that we cannot accommodate pets. Available all year round.

“Exceptionally clean bungalow, with superb country views”

This holiday home is exceptionally clean, with wonderful bedding and well equippes kitchen - it is like going from home-to-home. Being centered in Churchstow it is ideally placed to travel all over South Hams. Thurlestone Beach is probably the closest beach being 2 miles away; there are many more in close proximity Hope Cove (great for toddlers), Bigbury-on-Sea, a little further afield is Blackpool Sands and the beaches on Slapton Sands. For shopping there is Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth which have wonderful boutiques for a city centre Plymouth is 18 miles away. I have stayed in this holiday home many times and never tire of going. I always feel well rested after my breaks away and look forward to returning. The villagers are very welcoming especially in the village shop and local pub (which serves fantastic food). I really could not recommend it more highly.
