Maclise Road is a beautiful, light-filled first floor apartment forming part of an impressive Victorian house in the very popular 'village' of Brook Green in Kensington Olympia, within easy walking distance of High Street Kensington.The apartment features a beautiful sitting room with unusually high ceilings and windows– giving the apartment an impressively spacious feeling – beautiful cornicing, a lovely south facing balcony and wonderful old wooden floors. The accommodation comprises of an open plan living room and kitchen with exceptionally high ceilings, bathroom and double bedroom. There is a private balcony to the front which is accessed through double doors from the living room.

Maclise Road is a residential street very close to the Olympia Exhibition Hall.This gorgeous bijou apartment has a lovely high-ceilinged living room and separate kitchen area with a seating area. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, oven & hob and full cooking equipment. There is a TV in the sitting room with all freeview channels, and DVD. Also a Sony 'Zeppelin' docking station and wi-fi broadband access.

Maclise Road has a beautifully proportioned bedroom with high ceilings and a king size Loaf (the best!) bed and plenty of cupboard space. There is a modern bathroom with Italian tiling and modern Lefroy & Brooks bath and shower, and plenty of hot water. There is beautiful White Company towels and 400 thread count Egyptian bed linen provided.

The property is cleaned weekly, and there is also a washing machine available. There is security intercom access from the street below. There are a variety of local shops and pubs in Brook Green, and also a short walk away on High Street Kensingtonyou will find a huge array of world class restaurants and big-name shops. The new mega-mall at Westfield (the biggest in Europe) with its extensive retail, restaurant, leisure and transport facilities is also within easy walking distance.

Please note: If you need an early check in or a late check out we will need to know this at the time of booking because we will need to arrange this (if it is possible) at the time of booking. But there is also a handy left luggage facility just up the road at Westfield shopping mall anyway.

Response from the owner Thanks for the review; re the lift, the building management would never let us put in a lift for a first floor flat, the cost would be prohibitive and most would consider that quite unnecessary for only a first floor flat. Sorry about that!
