Description from owner
Description
Relax in comfort in this large warm lodge where time is your own and many activities keep the children happy and content. Enjoy the south facing balcony visited by red squirrels and woodpeckers, the view over the loch amid native woodland, and appreciate the stars at night with no light pollution. Yes, this quiet retreat is only 10 minutes from the shops and beach in Nairn.
The lodge has a spacious living area and 3 bedrooms. The double room is ensuite, while the twin and bunk rooms are served by a bathroom suitable for wheelchair users. Always kept very clean, with broadband and many extras. No smoking inside.
Therese will welcome you to this organically farmed croft and invite you to collect eggs and feed pet lambs when present. Families consider this a safe place to let children play outside with trampoline, bikes and boat. A short video on our Hiddenglen website shows farm animals, children's activities and wildlife.
Nairn has been a holiday town since before Charlie Chaplin started coming here. With similar rainfall to Paris, extra sunshine, sandy beaches and dolphins many families return year after year. It's close to Inverness for endless monster hunting around the dark and misty loch! and where castles, forts and distilleries are guaranteed. Mountains, moors and forests, with rivers?tumbling through rocky pools, provide beautiful countryside in which to walk or explore?with a mountain bike. Visitor attractions, golf courses and restaurants are abundant, as are retail parks for those with withdrawal symptoms!
Please phone for a friendly chat to discuss your requirements, or visit our own website for more details. Prices range from £132 to £694 per week. We only accept bookings Saturday to Saturday, except for last minute deals and short breaks which maybe available in the next 3 weeks.
