The cottage benefits from its own private entrance, parking and enclosed garden. Off the hallway are 2 bedrooms one double and one twin and a family bathroom containing both bath and shower cubicle. 4 steps lead down to a the open plan kitchen with electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and utility area with washing machine. The dining area is attached to the kitchen, a comfortable family space with farmhouse table and chairs seating 6, bar stools at the breakfast bar and a sofa and TV. Doors lead out into the private enclosed garden with lawn and seating area and magnificent views reaching as far as Kinder Scout. Upstairs the cottage has a galleried lounge with sofas and a smart TV and the master double bedroom which has an en-suite shower room and toilet. “Wonderful peaceful stay”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2022

The Holiday Cottage at Brow Farm is in a stunning location, and only a half hour drive from parts of Manchester. We visited for a family reunion as we have family in the area. The cottage is beautiful inside with a large kitchen and lovely lounge overlooking the entrance hall. There is plenty parking and a garden area to enjoy the views. The cottage is very comfy and well equipped throughout. We really enjoyed getting to know Dave and the chickens on the farm and had some visits into Manchester and to nearby Peak District. Chatsworth House well worth a visit! The nearby park on High Lea Road has loads of play equipment for kids. There are also shops and takeaways only a ten minute walk away and the farm was easy to find from directions given. Dave and Cath had left instructions for everything in the cottage and a folder with lots of helpful tips and recommendations. They were very friendly and welcoming and also said to get in touch if there were any problems. We would definitely look to stay again as there is so much to do in the area and the cottage makes a lovely quiet base.
