This cottage is ideally located for guests with business or social commitments in Nottingham.
This late 18th century cottage is situated in the pleasant village of Lambley, 6 miles north east of Nottingham, with pubs, a church and a shop (at the local petrol station).
Modernised to a high standard with central heating, whilst retaining character features, the cottage has been recently redecorated throughout, with new carpets and curtains. There is a conservatory and a delightful garden.
The cottage is well equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, TV/DVD and broadband. Ample private parking is available. Bedlinen/towels included.
This cottage is fully featured and furnished with all of the modern conveniences that you would expect of a 3-star cottage. Dickman's Cottage is DEFINITELY designed to make your holiday as comfortable as possible.
Our features include:

• A full-featured kitchen, outfitted with a downstairs pantry, a conservatory, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, and even a dishwasher!

“Dickmans Cottage”
Lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean apart from a couple of cobwebs in the beams. Beds were really comfortable and a lovely mature garden with some garden furniture to enjoy the nice weather we had. Kitchen was small and due to the staircase you had to watch you didn't bang your head, but this was not a major inconvenience and added to the cottages character. Located in a lovely village with 3 pubs all in close proximity - 5 min walk. Would recommend booking a table in advance if you want to eat. We went into Nottingham City centre one day and visited Sherwood Forest the next. Between a 20 to 30 minute drive for both. Would recommend and stay again.

“Cozy cottage with secure garden for dogs”
We had a lovely but brief stay in this cosy, historic cottage which is well situated for trips to Sherwood and Nottingham (for two Robin Hood fans) and other parks and places around about. We had two children and two dogs with us and so the wifi and garden were very welcome. We had been really grateful to the owner for her help with the booking and especially for allowing us to bring both dogs. As it is a small, historic cottage, it has some low doorways and small staircase and so being taller and clumsy did mean I hit my head several times! But we have already recommended this cottage to friends.
