Description
Heatherlea is a recently extended property on a quiet, secluded lane only a minutes walk from the centre of Otterburn village. Close to Otterburn Castle and Le Petit Chateaux with Woodhill Hall only one mile away. It has beautiful views over the Rede valley and a totally enclosed garden. Lots of space inside with two lounges both opening onto the patio and garden area. Family friendly we have many items for your toddler or baby to save you packing bulky items. Central to explore Northumberland with Kielder Water and Forest Park, Hadrians Wall, the Roman Forts and the Coast and Castles, all under an hours drive away. The area has breathtaking views and is close ( 20 Mins ) to the Scottish border towns, steeped in history and places to see.

“Excellent Accomadation”

“Well equiped house and v helpful owner”
Although we only managed three nights at Heatherlea, Susan made us very welcome and was incredibly helpful on our arrival and in telling us about the village and her racing stable. She was generous with showing us (including three very excited small girls) around the stables one morning. The house suited us well - bedrooms in two areas and two sitting areas. Sadly the weather didn't allow us to use the outside space.

“Excellent stay”
We came to Heatherlea to stay for our friends wedding at woodhill hall. The house was perfect! Plenty of beds for everyone was nice and clean and spacious. Susan even left us a box with some lovely biscuits in and tea and hot chocolate which went down lovely! Thanks so much and we will deff be back to stay if ever in the area again!

“Perfect”
Heatherlea was the perfect choice for a weekend stay in Otterburn, while we celebrated a family wedding at Le Petite Chateau. There was more than enough room for 7 of us as there are 4 bedrooms (one with en-suite), a large lounge/dining area, a spacious kitchen and 'sun room' which provided an additional lounge area and another bathroom. The views at the rear of the property are amazing and the location is so quiet. Cannot recommend this property enough!!

Lovely cottage and views. Accommodation suited us very well particularly as it was dog friendly. More attention could be paid to cobwebs and kitchen cupboard under cooker and cutlery drawer lots of bits! Laundered towel was still soiled! However the place itself was very nice and I would go again.
