Response from the owner These people were exstemely rude to say the least and looking for fault in our property. We know they found a cheaper property locally and clearly didn’t want to stay in ours. We refunded them the totally amount as really didn’t want guests around our site who clearly didn’t want to be there. They used the shower in the couple of hour of being there and left masses of black hair in the shower, also it appear they used the bed which also had the same hair. We have never had a bad review in many years especially for cleanliness. Please do not let these people put you off staying in a lovely place check our other reviews over a number of years to see what other guests have said.

Lovely place for some peace and quiet with the log burner on full tilt. Really relaxing. Advice driving there in the daytime, as night time proved more of a challenge!

“Relaxing stay”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2016

The cottage has wonderful views from the sitting-room and terrace. A lovely spacious cottage that you can just relax in. Good walks from the door and easy access into Oxford using the P&R which is about 10 mins drive away. It could do with a visitor book so we could see what others have enjoyed such as good eateries and places to visit.. We would happily stay again.
