Description
This one bedroom lodge, just three miles from Ulverston, is able to sleep two people.Ash Lodge is a one bedroom lodge, just three miles from Ulverston, and can sleep up to two people. Set all on the ground floor this open plan lodge includes a compact kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is a comfortable and cosy double bedroom which also has a TV and an en-suite shower room. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and a decked area with a private hot tub offering lovely countryside views. Ash Lodge is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Lake District National Park and all that this delightful area has to offer.
Amenities: Electric panel heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, WiFi, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, radio, Bluetooth speaker. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for two cars. Decked area with hot tub and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: There is a step leading up to the decked area and a further step into the lodge. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: Situated on the beautiful Lake District Peninsula, the scattered hamlet of Pennington is set in an area of gentle hills and unspoiled countryside. The start of the Haematite and Cumbrian Way footpaths are close by, as are the twin pubs at Great Urswick Tarn â locally renowned for their fine ales and good food. Nearby Ulverston is an ancient market town, which still holds a streetmarket every Thursday and Saturday. Today, this settlement is best known as a "festival town", with events throughout the year, and as the birthplace of Stan Laurel. As a result, it is now home to the only Laurel and Hardy museum in the world. Facilities there include a wide range of shops, pubs, and restaurants whilst all of the attractions of the National Park are within easy reach. Also close by is the Furness Coast, boasting sandy beaches and good birdwatching. Other attractions include the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, the South Lakes Wild Animal Park and Muncaster Castle.

This Lodge has so many faults too many to list here cannot have the door open because unwanted feral cats kept on trying to get in lovely views
