Description
The Frantoio delle Grazie accommodation is a pleasant and relaxing alternative for visiting Florence and Tuscany but for staying outside the city itself. Guests can easily reach the city centre (by car, by bicycle or by public transportations) but they can also enjoy Tuscan countryside pleasures as well. The hill of Settignano is the natural frame for this panoramic area protected by Italian Superintendency of Cultural Heritage and Environment. Its natural surroundings are dominated by olive groves, vineyards, cypresses and oak-trees. Nearest shopping centre is far only 1 Km.
The Villa is a traditional Florentine countryside home: its structure goes back to the XVIth Century. The recent restoration has maintained its original aspect and joined the ancient character together with modern amenities. The charming Florentine atmosphere of Il Frantoio delle Grazie is revealed through the use of typical Tuscan materials such as stone, terracotta tiles, beams and wrought iron. The interior decoration and the choice of furniture (ancient and period pieces) are in harmony with the regional taste. Every detail has been studied to let you enjoy a pleasant and elegant welcome. The ancient rural rooms, such as the grindstone for olives and the wine cellar, have retained their historical charm.
The Uva flat is situated on the first floor; it consists of a superior double bedroom, a two beds room, a totally equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. He lives few steps away from your flat and and will be always glad to assist you (fi.g.. museums reservations, transfer from and to the airport or the station, Chianti tours...)

“A Beautiful rustic place beneath Florence”
This is the place to be when you want to visit Florence and surroundings. You stay in an autentic old villa with a nice swimmingpool. The owner Simone provide you a good stay in this part of Tuscany. In the morning you go travelling around en in the afternoon you return to cool down in the swimming pool. The house is provided with a central airco. So in the nights you can sleep well. It’s nice to have an own kitchen, but the furnace was a bit poor. Just 2 pits. But with a very good Italian kitchen outside in the city, it was a little problem. Every evening we had visit of some deers. And the housecat Sjakie.
