The Frantoio delle Grazie accommodation is a pleasant and relaxing alternative when visiting Florence as you can stay outside the city itself. Guests can easily reach the centre (by car, by bicycle or by public transportations) but enjoy Tuscan countryside pleasures as well. The Frantoio delle Grazie is only 5 minutes drive from the A1 highway exit “Firenze Sud” (South Florence); The hill of Settignano is the natural frame for this panoramic area protected by Italian Superintendency of Cultural Heritage and Environment. Its natural surrounding is dominated by olive groves, vineyards, cypresses and oak-trees. It is only 3 Km from Florence historical city centre; nearest shopping centre is far only 1 Km.
Bright and spacious opened space, the Arance apartment (50 m2) is on the ground floor with independent entrance from the lodge. A large glass window opens onto the garden; it is formed by a sleeping area with double bed, bathroom with shower and window, kitchenette with dining area and a living area. Services: Permanent fast internet connection, Satellite Television, air conditioning and heating, hair dryer, buzzer, microwave oven, American and Italian coffee maker dishwasher, fridge. It has facilities for disabled people
Included in the price: towels and bed linen (change every week), baby cot and high cjair (please order before your arrival), internet connection wi fi, private parking, swimming pool and barbecue use.

“Beautiful, convenient, Simone was great!”
I would highly recommend this place. Simone had great communication prior to booking and was available for any assistance we needed once we were there. Simone has prepared a map of all the things you need to know i.e. grocery store, buses, trains, etc. He also asked what else we were interested in and gave us some tips and notes on a Florence map. He recommended some restaurants of which we tried 3 - all were hits! The location is convenient to Florence and the sites there and allowed us to do a lot of day trips around the region. The pool was lovely and right on the hill. It is what you would think of when you say "Tuscan Villa". Even being so close to the city, you feel like you are in the middle of the country. The pictures do not do it justice. I would definitely stay there again.

“Quiet and convenient for Florence”
The owner Simone Starnoti is on-site and very helpful. The location is very pleasant and quiet. The mill house and the garden / pool area provide plenty of restful places to sunbathe or just to sit and read. The walk to the local shop and bus stop is around 1km but if you wish to go further afield than Florence to larger shops and supermarkets a car is required. The bus service to and from Florence is very frequent, takes around 20mins and is only 1.20 euros each way. Even better is the ATAF 24 hour bus ticket at 5 euros which allows you to hop on and off as many bussini (small electric bus) in Florence city centre and saves walking from one attraction to another.

“Great location, Charming”
The villa is very accessible to Florence and other points of interest in Tuscany. Charming villa on an old olive plantation. Very spacious and comfortable. Will come back again!
