Description

Swallows Barn is set on a lovely working farm in Cheshire - nestled in the foothills of the Peak District National Park. The cottage has been newly created from a farm barn and has been tastefully converted to create a spacious, warm, cosy and comfortable cottage with two en-suite bedrooms, open living/dining/kitchen area with wood burning stove, utility room with washer / drier, and flat screen TV's in all rooms. Ample parking is available on site for up to four vehicles and an exclusive patio and garden are provided. Lovely walks are available from the doorstep including a farm walk and you can even fish in our stream. The Gritstone Trail is nearby and lots of other superb walks. If you like cycling, then super off road cycling opportunities are available in Macclesfield Forest, Delamere Forest the Biddulph Valley way and the Middlewood Way. Golf courses, fishing, sailing and horse riding are nearby. This is the perfect base from which to explore the beauty and delights of our lovely coutryside. We are ideally located to visit the delights of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Numerous local attractions are within easy access including historic houses, NT properties, superb gardens, Jodrell Bank, Alton Towers, the historic market towns of Leek and Macclesfield and the spa town of Buxton. The historic city of Chester is under an hours drive away and the cities of Manchester and Liverpool are also within easy access. For the shopaholics then why not try the Trafford Centre, Cheshire Oaks, Liverpool One and Manchester. An array of cosy rural pubs and restaurants are nearby.

How do damage deposits work?

If Brenda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
