Description
Lovely Self Contained Accommodation in the centre of Old Amersham Buckinghamshire, sleeps 6 in three bedrooms and up to 7 or 9 if temporary beds and the the adjacent annex is added to the booking.
Delightful peaceful and secluded 16th century converted barn in the heart of Old Amersham hidden away to the rear of the Crown Hotel and within 100 yards of the centre of the Old Town with its own private parking.
Private, secluded and extremely comfortable with private courtyard garden and own entrance - sit in kitchen and your own Private Parking Spaces adjacent to the courtyard garden.
Note whilst we can do up to 7 guests in The Barn - it can be a bit of a squeeze - it would require a put me up bed as well - its fine for children or one family with close friends but 7 adults would be a stretch. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the others with twin beds. A single put you up bed is also available.
We have an adjacent annex - The Old Barn Annex that sleeps two - it is a small fully self contained unit with a private entrance and private parking adjacent to the Barn, easily incorporated with the Barn for a stay, so the same secluded private location. Access between the suite and the Barn is across the paved parking area and only about 10 meters away.
Annex review
“Welcoming, friendly hosts. .My first stay A compact room but had a separate bathroom. all very clean. The double bed was really comfortable and the duvet was of a good quality. Had a really great sleep which is unusual for me when I stay away. There was even a bottle of wine win the fridge and muesli for breakfast. Definitely recommend and will stay again.”
The Barn is featured in the photographs and sleeps up to 7 people. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the others with twin beds if required.
The nightly rate is £249 for the Barn with a 7 night minimum stay - 14 nights in high season.
Fully equipped home away from home - ideal for corporate visitors or a holiday visit.
Super fast Broadband Wi Fi
Two large flat screen Sony TV's - Smart TV's with Netflix & full Sky glass package including Sky Sports. The TV's have separate feeds so children can watch different programs to the main TV.
Sabatier chefs knives, original artworks, books and DVD's, Scalextric set and games and local walking maps and information.
Old Amersham is one of the most beautiful towns in the South of England located in the rolling Chiltern Hills designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has many quality restaurants and pubs all in a short walking distance.
Please note that our minimum stay is three nights. In high season it is seven nights - normally Saturday to Saturday - but do please enquire especially if close to the time of arrival. We will not accept three night bookings a long way ahead as this can knock out a longer term booking.
Pets are acceptable - do check in advance - we steam and deep clean after pets and charge a one off £100 deep cleaning fee.
