Description

EXCLUSIVE: New private hot tub! We now have a private hot tub in the garden of The Tack Room for guests staying in this cottage only. The Tack Room features a functional kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, oven and hob, cooking utensils and cutlery, glass and tableware. Access to the communal laundry room is available. A dining table is located close to the kitchen. In the lounge areas we have soft comfortable sofas a large flat screen TV with free-view channels, and a Blu-ray DVD player, and free WI-FI throughout the cottage, and a music docking station. Our bathroom features clean modern design with tiled walls and floors, hand basin, shower and toilet. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a King size bed and the other with two single beds, which can easily be joined together to form a super king size double. We have used luxury mattresses on our beds which are dressed with Egyptian cotton linen, encasing feather pillows and duvets. In the bedroom areas we have ample storage in the form of hanging space and drawers. The cottage has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and access to a communal laundry machine facility where you can find a vacuum and clothes dryer. There is also a single camp bed that can be put up in either of the two bedrooms to sleep 5.

The whole cottage is situated where the farm's working shire horses' tack and harnesses were kept until the 1960s. We have retained a sense of the cottages original, historic purpose in the master bedroom, where we have reconditioned the harness stands to display an antique harness that was used on the farm and black bridle hooks.

A refreshing blue and cream colour scheme has been followed throughout the cottage, providing a relaxing yet contemporary atmosphere. The swallows on the curtains reflect our dearly loved summer visitors which swoop and dive for insects around the farm. This cottage also has private access to a bespoke patio area, immediately outside the cottage, with table and chairs and our brand new hot tub!
