Description

Fairview is a beautifully presented three story period house located in the pretty Victorian seaside town of Clevedon. The house is located just 50m from the beach with sweeping views across the sea to the Welsh coast, Bristol Channel and as far as Exmoor.

Fairview can accommodate up to ten guests with four double bedrooms plus a very comfortable sofabed to the Study. To the ground floor there is a large kitchen diner with view across the park to the beach and sea beyond. To the front of the house there is an attractive lounge and a separate cloakroom. To the first floor there two bedrooms, study, utility room and a shower room. To the second floor there are two further bedrooms and the main bathroom that has a bath and seperate shower. Externally, there are pretty gardens to the front, side and rear with direct access to Pier Copse (park) and to the front a large driveway for three cars.

Clevedon is a hidden gem of the South West and a great place to spend your family summer holiday. Our Victorian seaside town has great amenities; Hill Road with its independent boutique shops, deli's, cafes and restaurants, the beach with its impressive Grade 1 Listed Victorian pier, the Curzon Cinema (the longest continuously running cinema in the World) and some great pubs serving local ales and cider.

The beach and promenade are just a short walk from the house where you can enjoy crabbing, dinghy sailing, swimming, kayaking, exploring rock pools or simply taking in the view whilst eating a local ice cream. Watching the sun set over the Welsh hills whilst having a bbq and glass of wine on the beach is not to be missed. Take a trip on the Waverley or Balmoral from the end of the pier to the nearby islands of Flat and Steep Holm. The promenade links the beach to the coast paths and to the marine lake and playing fields that have a miniature railway, children's park, skate-park, tennis and basketball courts, crazy golf and a bowling green.

Nearby, there are many great days out to be had at Tyntesfield House (National Trust), Bristol Zoo, Bristol Museums, The SS Great Briton and the Matthew, Puxton Park and Farm Shop, Cheddar Gorge and Wokey Hole, mountain biking, horse riding and walking on the Mendips and Quantocks.

Clevedon is also ideally positioned to explore historic Bristol, Bath and the wider South West region.

For golfers, there are two course within Clevedon, Clevedon Golf Club and Clevedon Golf Centre and there are many exceptional golf courses within a short distance, the most notable being Celtic Manor (Ryder Cup Venue), Burnham and Berrow and St Pierre.

If Anthony (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
